Thank you! My wife insisted on the railing being all white and I think it turned out great with a farmhouse twist!
How did you get the post to be sturdy?
The stairs on the steps and landing I buried in the floor, the rest of the posts, I doweled them into a beam down below. The design of the railing helped strengthen and tie it all together
what size was the lumber on for the crosses ? it looked to be 1x6s ?
You, are correct. 1x6s are what were used for the cross bucks.
