I had a superb experience at The Dukes Retreat, Khandala.
Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- into the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help!
Dukes Retreat is the best Resort in Lonavla.
The room was cleaned every day. There’s a beautiful experience of Pool and Spa, spa facility was nice.
The food was superb. Overall, Dukes Retreat is a good place to be with your family and friends.
No other place in India can beat the beauty of Maharashtra.
Road from Lonavala to Mulshi via Tiger Point, Mulshi Dam was atleast physically there so that anyhow you could reach your destination. But in 2003 we had to abandon the journey. There was landslide and the roads were washed away due to heavy heavy rains.
Bhai Leh Ladakh mein baarish nahi hoti.. Roads kharab nahi Honge... Tamhini gets 6000mm of rainfall!

और अगर वापस पुणे आ रहे होंगे तो पूरा महाराष्ट्र घूम लो आपको लेह लद्दाख वाली फीलिंग आएगी, और बहुत मजा आएगा, क्यूंकि जो नेचर से जुड़े गाव है उनके रास्ते वैसे ही है। और surrounding places is beautiful, aap agali bar trek karne jarur aana।
U missed one of the most beautiful spot before taking right to mulshi there was a nice spot called andharban must visit...

घाटियों मैं आपको बहुत ज्यादा बारिश में वोटरफॉल्स मिलेंगे, हम भी ऐसे ही बारिश मैं जाते है तो रोड पर फॉग रहता है पर पहाड़ यहां पर भी देखकर ही गाड़ी चलानी पड़ती है।

If u want to go from lonavala to taming ghat and mulsi dam then the best road is to connect then paud road which starts from lonavala to mulsi dam and then heading to pune via Manas lake then crossing bhugaon and intersect at chandani chowk.
Between all these road u will have awesome mutton food cooked in chulha
My decision: one of the fine and real vlog love from Bangalore

From tiger point to mulshi lake, one of the craziest, toughest, narrow, offroad, slippery, big patholes road to drive on.. Taken old generation type 2 santro with small 13 inch wheels. No breakdowns in between, it was my luck. Google Maps won't show correct route in such areas, and locals also do not give right directions. Local villagers are like, 5 km he mulshi lake n it was almost 25km. I was the alone driver & know about basic of vehicles.. When i came out of that route near tamini ghat road, I stopped the car n took deep breath. Inspected car from bottom because there were more stone scraping because of big patholes and low groung clearance.

In lonvala there are many forts and caves.. Korigadh Fort near amby Valley agar thoda trek karte toh Amby Valley ka Airport b dikh jata... And salter Lake b miss kiya apne.. Jaha pe xuv 500 was struggling to climb vaha se bas 10min dur tha Lake..
