    Awesome explore, and I can't believe for the most part no vandlizum. The government waist is unfortunately typical, some of the furnaturure and kitchen could have been repurposed. Gave thumbs up.

    The Bell System logo and phone booth are from the mid-1960s. So that was probably when it was installed. It looks like there was a lot of remodeling done in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, but not much after that.

    I drive past that place a lot while we are scouting for locations in the Cl****** area. Looks so big from outside. Still haven't gotten inside yet. Sharp video Dane

      Thanks, Paula, I was kind of dismayed when I heard teenage girls calling each other "Guys," back in the '70s (some using the "F-bomb" just like boys, too.) Took some getting used to by an old guy like me.

    That was great! The two posters one was of WC Fields and the lower one was of Laurel & Hardy...all three used to be my favorite growing up watching old movies on channel 43...back when the TV used to sign off at night and there was no cable , direct TV or internet. I just dated myself...but anywho that would and some of those old railings could be repurposed and I know the perfect location. Such a waste

    Wondered what became of prior Juvee🏛court&facilities🤔What a waste,meanwhile the palatial new Juvee facilities the inmates are wrecking too.Thought solid modified former Richman Bros.building for replacement Juvee facilities was a better idea but not palatial enough.Thanks UD as usual for the eye opening vlog.👍👀

Actually for me too, that was an interesting & at one time I think I would have digged to have 1 of my cases heard there.... vrs the ghetto ones in Chicago LoL they can look nice BUT everyone who works there is a bitter person

    Wow, you said the first courthouse you were in was in Detroit? Normally, people who go into a Detroit courthouse don't see daylight again for at least 40 years..... Excellent video. Wish I could explore with you guys...

    That guy, was one of the greatest men in history, during WW2 Winston Churchill, the other was the comedian W. C. Fields :)

      Oops, H. G. Wells was the author of "The Time Machine" and "War of the Worlds." The guy in the funny hat was W. C. Fields, a hilarious comedian and actor in movies.

    They should have donated all that furniture, if they were just going to leave it there anyhow. So many good usable items that families could have used. Sad shape of our government. Letting stuff go to waste, instead of helping those who put them in office.

    Another place I'd like to go is that hospital that you went to although I heard recently in the news that that area where it's at is getting tired of it because supposedly the people that have it now haven't done anything with it and haven't been doing any upkeep so they're trying to get an order together to get it to Molly and I hope that they don't because from what I seen in your video it look like it wasn't in that bad of shape

    That’s an old municipal building. Such a shame, just wasting away. Great vid hun. And don’t worry about saying “guys” lol. I still say dude, girl or guy. Just shows our age 😂 I think those are just holding cells, I didn’t see any toilets. Btw, this “beds” are called Boats and you’re right, they are for when the run out of cots. Still trying to figure out why they had Churchill, Fields, Malcom, Chaplin, Nancy Sinatra and Laurel and Hardy in that room 😂🤣😂🤣

    Yes a waste of resources, furniture, equipment if nothing else should have been donated to schools or other programs who could have used it, many could have made use of. Government apparently doesn’t see the need to pass it on just let it rot

    As huge as this place is and it was closed because of overcrowding, I wouldn't want to live in that hood with so many nasty people out on the streets...
