About Loopers (Ryukishi's new visual novel) it is not yet known if it will connect with the franchise "When they cry" but there are details that catch my attention: appear the "ribbon of infinity" as seen in Higurashi in all its name, in the cover, she protagonist is surrounded by irregular objects similar to kakera fragments. In the gallery section there is an image, the most striking to me it seems, is a witch giving powers to a girl with her magic wand, perhaps a possible reference to Umineko or how EUA gives SATOKO looper powers.
Seems like it will fucus about a group of people going through the same period of time over and over again, and not just one person; so they can share their experiences, struggles and being there for one another. Treasure-hunting is also another theme as well. I've only read the demo so I don't know much (I don't mind spoilers though, please do spoil the tale), but apparently each person there has their own motives and purposes aside from breaking through the vortex? And as Simon is the oldest one in terms of how long he's in the loop if I'm not mistaken (a fking decade, man I cannot bear to imagine what he went through) and seems to hiding something as well?

Sorry Key, but I gotta give it to Akabei Soft2’s Role Player: Okayu Shimai no Nenmaku Potrait - Gurigucha Live! which already made me depressed for existing. Nukige can be nakige... for a group that made G-gensou no Maou to zombie idols minus the zombie. Sure both are in different but similar markets, but I commend Key for maintaining consistent emotional titles to a degree.
So stoked Ryukishi is working on this project! Suuuuuuuuuuuper bummed there isnt Na-Ga or Hinoue art tho. No na-ga or hinoue really kills the vibe of a key game. I dont know if you could really call it a key novel without Na-Ga or Hinoue..... I really hope they come back. I cant bring myself to play until they do ;_;
