Agree that's racing! Was he trying to make his car your new roof!? 🙈 Ryan you was racing the right way, getting out of the gas so you could make the turn. You was a quarter to half car lead getting into turn 3. He never got off of the throttle. Drown was Drowning from lack of talent that lap! 👍

Ryan he run over your left rear with his right front. He wasn’t there he tried to run it in there from too far back and ran over you. The last couple laps I kept thinking the guy with the green numbers and pink wheel covers may not want to keep jackin with you lol. I’m sure by then you had had all you were going to take. It was definitely your race bud. Hell of a come back with the car tour up. Keep gettin it luck got to turn around. You all take care and stay safe.
I’m with you and the Mrs on this one Ryan, you cleared him on the backstretch and he didn’t let up entering the corner and ran you over. And on the 6th Lap SMH. You were in the lead, and if not for those cautions I don’t think it would’ve been close with the way the car was setup. Those officials should be ashamed!!!
But like you said, that’s racing. Clean it, fix it, and get your revenge for the season finale brother 🤙🏻

I watched Drown smack and ride the front stretch wall last night in his heat race (Raceway 7 - WoO) trying to pass Dennis Erb. He never did come out for his last chance qualifier. He's always been real aggressive but this year He's taken self destruction to a new level.
Bet his sponsors are proud 😏. It's early in the season Ryan, None of that "I quit talk" , Oliver is watching and listening.

I have a feeling Drown knows deep down he was to blame there when it comes down to it. Sure he said you came down the track during the stoppage, but that was in the moment, and most people are going to use an excuse like that in the moment to play off what just happened. Things happen so fast in a race car. Personally I think he got too tunnel visioned on the possibility that he could lead that race the next time by the stripe if he hit turns 3-4 right and to me looked like he drove in WAY too hard. In that moment his rf hopped your lr and everyone along for the ride at that point. You were running the same line you had been all race, high in 1-2 and low in 3-4. He knows that, and knew that in the moment too. In LM racing just because someone puts a nose under you in one corner like you said you saw doesn't mean drown has the right to that real estate all the way into the next corner. Momentum plays a huge role in the race craft of situations like these, specifically in dirt late model racing. Drown knows that too I have to imagine.
There are a lot of people in the comments saying Drown meant to do that and I really don't think that's the case, Ryan knows it too I'd bet. All it takes to ruin someone elses race is driving into a corner a few feet further than normal. Anyone who has ever raced has been there done that. Not excusing what he did, you gotta be in control of your stuff though. Great attitude to have at the end of the video Ryan. Got a healthy happy family and that's more than a lot can say.
We can tell you have a lot of respect for Doug. Hopefully he has enough humility to look at this and realize you were holding your line and he made a mistake.
Definitely a little hero move on his part, too early in the race and too late getting into the turn to try to stick a nose is there. Car still looked good with the damage passing most the field.
First time watching you race you were out front and the other car drove over his head and ran over you I’m 70 yrs old we had dirt cars back in the 60’s at Hickory NC I would say you took the high road don’t quit people saw what happened
Well don’t quit racing Ryan you’re too good of a driver for that you did get the shaft that I heard people in the stands and they put you on the tail because you went into the infield I still don’t think that’s right you should’ve won that race but you stuck with it and you came right back up through there glad you got a top five but that was your race it got taken away. You were fast all night from the start

That sucks. It's late in the season, just beat the body panels out and put 'em back on. It'll be time for new skins soon enough.
"That's racing"! How better to describe the events of one race, one night, one season!! The only time that I have EVER wished that a season kept going, was when we were closing in on a championship and didn't get it!! Otherwise everyone connected with racing is completely burned out from giving everything night after night, week after week, and can't wait for the off-season!! Then after a winter of working on the car can't wait to go racing again!! P.S. I always love watching a driver that's a little P.O'd come from the back, and you were no exception!! I'm assuming that had you gone to the hot pits, you would have gotten your spot back?

Back in the 90's, I was racing my Hobby Stock at Memphis Motorsports Park.. during a race ... This one driver had a habit of tapping someone in the left rear quarter going into the 1st & 3rd turns to shove them to the top, while he went to the bottom.
He did it to me going into turn 3 ... I was determined to come out of turn 4 in front of him ... when I was about to come out of turn 4, I was heading to the bottom of the straightaway to block the guy ... next thing I know...his right front tire was going past my door window and was on top of my left front fender ... I was looking over at his headers shooting fire out 2 feet from my face ... We went past the Flagstand before we finally came apart ... nether of us ever got off the "Loud Pedal"(😁) and he was about to use me to bank off of to make turn one ... that was the deepest and hardest I'd ever went into one before ...I hit the brakes to let him miss me and so I could dive behind him into the corner ..... it didn't work😮 ... somehow ... we both got tangled up and spun OFF the track ... almost hitting the Snap On truck that was parked due to sponsoring that race night.
(That "one" driver had several different track championship per year ... for several years in a row)

Number 12 had plenty of room on the bottom where he was running and it was either intentional, driver error on him, or some mechanical failure that caused him to plow into you Ryan

You had the car to beat for sure. I guess he thought he could rough you up in the corner and try and push you up. The problem was he wasn't in a position to do so. He needed to be another 2 to 3 car lengths closer to you before trying it. Drove it in too hard and too early. If he wanted to win the race, he needed to run harder for a couple more laps and get himself into position before throwing it in there like he did. Still really unsure why you would have went tail for being run over. Better luck next time...hope on further review that the car wasn't too hurt.
That was a total dive bomb move on the other driver's part. He drove his right front over your left rear. How much differently did your car drive after the damage?

It looked to me like he ran out of talent! He was going to try and loosen you up but his right front jumped your left rear and the Egg was on his face but he wasn't man enough to admit it. Besides I've never seen a racetrack where the leader was expected to hold the same Groove the entire race so that it made it easier for the ones behind them to pass. You did not turned out on him though from what I can tell.
Drown ran ya over plain n simple if you weren't there. He would of slapped the wall hard. I bet after seeing video next excuse will be. Oh my throttle hung. Can not stand multiple excuses drivers so they don't have to take personal responsibility for being a short bus reject

I'm not sure about the man's driving skills but he's definitely a bad liar. Your ran your line and he clearly ran in to you. I thought his steering broke but obviously not. Back in my day a man could be taken for his word... not! Did the man ever come and talk to you?

@@thelonerickmissler let off the throttle earlier than usual, resulting in Drown not being able to tell, the way I see it, total racing incident from both angles.
I have already pulled off the track and not ever returned when they pulled that crap. Leader gets run over and wrecked and they put me in the back, so long azzholes, I will waste my money racing somewhere else that have competent track crews.

I can’t believe the track messed up that call. That was an easy call. That dude that hit you must have good knee pads he uses at that track. Well if they were good knee pads i guess he would have been given the lead. That dude sounded like an idiot saying you come down on him when he wasn’t up far enough for u to know and lie you said you ran that same line every lap. He knew what he was doing and knows he screwed up.

Glad they had the footage. I definitely got into him and wasn't up beside him as much as I thought at this angle. However video also shows he lifted 2 to 3 car lengths earlier then he did all the other previous laps, even his in car you can look at guardrail and listen to engine and see/ hear the difference where he lifted early that lap I ran into him. Which makes it look like I drove in deeper bc he was slowing down way earlier. $hit happens fast and I definitely wasn't anticipating that. Love the comments though. Bc we all know who's been involved in several confrontations this year. And this is my first in the past 5 years, so let's not say who can drive and who can't bc clearly stats don't lie. I Feel bad it happened. I don't like tearing anyone's equipment up, especially someone else's. When I tear people stuff up on purpose I pay for replacing.... ask a driver I flipped over after they hit me first who bought him a brand new car bc I felt bad from my choice to retaliate..... don't think any other driver has done that.

Yea the way I seen it, it was almost as if he tried to cut you off by slowing way down. I see the arguments from both sides, but ultimately, he slowed way down and changed his line.

There’s no ifs, ands or buts about it @dougdrown48, you ran out of talent and made a mistake, own the $hit. I’m not sure if you’re watching a different video but the one that has the footage slowed down is titled “But can I still race?” Topless Brawl at Wayne County. I have a question @dougdrown48 and a few more things to add. How in do you compare how many run ins/confrontations a driver has had in a year to determine if he’s a better driver? What in the Sam Hell are you thinking in saying that or the part about you buying someone a new car? Neither of those make you a good or bad driver, I’ve worked with some drivers that are considered to be the greatest of all time that have had confrontations on a weekly basis due to having idiots like yourself on the same track as they were. Just because you claim to have bought someone a new car after “flipping his car after WRECKING HIM AND DESTROYING HIS CAR”explains everything that I need to know about the person you are.Just go back up and read the comment that you posted above. You claim to be a good driver that doesn’t intentionally wreck others and say that you haven’t had many confrontations in whatever time frame and that makes you a good driver. You then boast about buying some guy a new car because you destroyed his car after wrecking him and causing his car to flip because you were mad. That comment says everything about you, hell the reason you haven’t had many confrontations in so long is because you haven’t always been up front to have people upset when you have no talent and destroy their car. You are just like a blind squirrel finding a nut, you both get lucky one day. Driving like m you did in this video without any care in the world, then placing the blame on the other driver for your poor decisions and lack of talent seems to be a flaw that you have from what I hear. Just know, doing stupid $hit like that will end up with someone getting hurt in the end.
