Hallelujah! If you prayed for God to help you then I know you have turned to Jesus as your Savior by now. I can tell you, that even though I accepted Jesus at 4, and I know I was in His hands all my life, because I had questions about things, the Bible being the true word of God (I can now assure you that it IS, and it could have only come from the mind of a supernatural GENIUS) it was not until I was 52 that I turned to GOD and said, "Please show me if the Bible is REALLY your word and I will give my life to you and not WAVER about my faith any more". And suddenly He put a hunger in my heart and within 2 weeks He caused things to happen that led me very quickly to the answers I was seeking. Jesus said, "ASK and it WILL BE given". "SEEK and you will FIND". If you haven't accepted Jesus yet, DON'T STOP SEEKING and ASKING. We are also told by Him to "ASK AND KEEP ON ASKING". However, do not think that He didn't hear you the FIRST time. Daniel in the Bible prayed and when the Angel got to him to give him the answer, he told Daniel that "GOD HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME YOU PRAYED" but that it took the Angel 21 days to get to him to give him the answer because he had to battle evil spirits in the Heavens trying to stop him from delivering the answer. Paul the Apostle also said, "... we KNOW that if we ask in sincerity... HE HEARS US" .
