Brown vs. Board of Education 70 years later: How has it impacted Connecticut public schools?

The Supreme Court ruled that separating children in public schools based off race is unconstitutional. Today, the impact of the decision is up for debate.

This all trickles down to the parents, the parents are the ones that are supposed to emphasize education to their children. Starting from a very early age they need to make sure the child knows that they are going to college. That it is a given. Conversations about college need to take place throughout the child’s early years so that they know throughout their early education they need to focus on their academics so they can either qualify for a scholarship or if they don’t they need to know they’re gonna have to work and get loans like everybody else. But either way early emphasis on getting educated so that they can put a roof over their house and not be limited to living in a ghetto type situation. I am 60 and a female, the men in my family were encouraged throughout their lives that they would have to be involved in further education but the women were not and I resent that to this day. It was just the times I suppose in the upbringing of my parents but either way it was a failure on their part

Social circles segregated = Democrats tell black folks all white folks are racist.
Democrats run the schools in black neighborhoods/allocate resources, Democrats control teachers unions and NEA.
Democrats control most of US education but NEVER blame themselves.
