    Another nice panel. I sure hope some day you figure out how to lock your panels and share/sell them with the rest of us. Your DA62 panel is one of my favorites.

    Any plans for the Black Square TBM 850 for MSFS 2020 in the future?

      Perhaps if there is demand for it in the future. Just so many others that are in work ahead of it right now. Playing catch up for a while yet.

      Understand! I love panels I have purchased so far.

    what size of touchscreen monitors are you using?

    • @ExperimentalSimAvionics
      @ExperimentalSimAvionics  11 місяців тому +2

      24” but many users are using them on different sizes down to 15.6”. You can also move and resize individual instruments to suit your setup if needed.. I’d recommend the 20-24” though as they give the optimal experience.

    Hi there
    When are you going to share the panels..?
    I cannot wait to purchase these..
    Also, would you share then privately..?
    Thank you

    Great panels. I enjoy flying the tbm. I also like trying to create my own panel/instruments. One thing that caught my eye in this video is the show/hide capability of the overhead panel and compass. Is that something available in air manager or did you built that into your implementation by using the visible() function. Looking forward to using this once available.

      Thanks. These are totally custom instruments all made by me. Any features you see like the show/hide ability is incorporated during development of the instruments. Glad you liked them.

      Thanks. That’s what I suspected. Can you share how you accomplished it? Meaning, if I were to undertake a similar design, how would I achieve this? I looked at the api and dont see any functions to manage panels. The closest thing I can think of is grouping objects and using visible() to show/hide.

    The TBM 930 is my favorite aircraft. Do you plan to release/sell your TBM 930 panels? One comment below says you are trying to lock these panels. Will you help me understand the locking issue with AM panels?

    • @ExperimentalSimAvionics
      @ExperimentalSimAvionics  Рік тому

      Yes thecTBM will be available at some point but 2 things are holding that up right now. The first is the impending AAU1 changes that will need modification of some of the instruments and a better handling of the pop out process in air Manager. Both are coming in future updates and once both are here we can push on. Not sure what locking comment you are referring to but if it’s rthe locking of the panel so it doesn’t move it’s covered in the MSFS popouts video.

      @@ExperimentalSimAvionics I run the Hawkeye-Stan’s pop out manager with Air Manager. Will your panels work with this combo? What specifically does AAU 1 fix for your panels?

    • @ExperimentalSimAvionics
      @ExperimentalSimAvionics  Рік тому +1

      Yes I run Stan’s POPM app and the work perfectly with it.. in fact POPM enhances the whole experience for the placement, the added touch support and it also resolves the return to focus sim bug. All in all it’s an essential tool for use alongside AM and MSFS.
      We don’t know yet what the release of AAU1 has in store so I’ll evaluate that once it’s finally released.

    Could you have the MFD screen in portrait mode for more vertical space? In my case it would not block my flying screen.

    • @ExperimentalSimAvionics
      @ExperimentalSimAvionics  2 роки тому

      If you mean the monitor that the MFD is on in portrait then yes you could do that. I have many panels that setup may work well for, but not all others. I don’t want to keep moving it so I prefer to keep them both in the conventional landscape.

    Are you on windows 10 or 11? Having a major issue trying to get my two touch screens for instruments working on windows 11

      W10 here. This is exactly why I never change the sim PC unless I have to. Good Luck getting it resolved.

      Why cant i find any of your panels? Do you share/sell it to selected people only?

  • @BostonClipper

    Have you experimented with having a pop-up panel like your autopilot but instead have a GTC 570 with an MSFS pop-out window?
    Or to say it another way... Can you have a pop-out in a pop-up? Hmm, sounds like a joke but I am serious. On a smaller computer touchscreen, it would be nice to have a
    PFD or MFD with the ability to bring up a simulated GTC by pressing the squared "X" pop-up icon. Sorry for the struggle forming the question.

    • @ExperimentalSimAvionics
      @ExperimentalSimAvionics  2 роки тому

      If the popouts were not overlapping or it was a pop out based instrument and a normal AM instrument then yes. However if you mean 2 overlapping popouts then it’s not possible because there isn’t an easy automated way to alternate the popout. This is not a limitation of AM but of the nature of the way the sim handles pop outs.
