you dont need a permit and yes you can bring your own board, but you can also rent..there is parking at SH, but i would go before memorial day or after labor day because its soooo crowded in the summer

We wanted to go inside Sand Harbor beach but the park gate workers saw our small dog (we were unaware of no dogs allowed) and had to leave the beach! I was bummed! 😓😔😍💦🌅

how long does it take to paddle board from sand harbour to/from bonsai rock?
I'd say around 20 to 30 minutes..wind is also a factor but the distance itself its too long

i belive its about a mile to bonsai rock? it's not very far and best to do it on a day with little wind to make it a smoother ride 💙💙
