The radio is a no frills no fuss Budget offering by Digital Starsound and is best used as a replacement for OEM radios that are on their way out.
I bought the Radio as a Gift for my Aunt from Autozone at R505.

Which app does one use for Bluetooth?
no app needed connecvt to the "Car Kit" via BT and play music form your phone as usual
How is the overall bass and sound on this model? Is it ok to run 6 by 9's?
They are decent and put out about 15w rms so if you can find speakers that only need 25w rms or less then This radio is perfect for them

Hi, can anyone help me with the factory reset instructions on the Starsound SSUSB-180BT. I had it installed in my Renault Sandero Stepway, but the volume is too loud, meaning on volume 1 it is too load to even carry a normal conversation. Any help will be much appreciated.
Check your settings, Maybe you enabled loudness/Loud mode?
When you're ready for a further upgraded head unit hit me up for one of the Android options I can supply. Will be a marked improvement over a normal head unit 😉
