Three of my favorite PTX Christmas songs are: "Mary Did You Know" (apparently also a favorite of many others!), "Where Are You Christmas", and "O Come All Ye Faithful"
gotcha..However, I put you down for the Cimorelli- Mary Did You Know. I think it will be a better one for you. The PTX three have already been requested multiple times, but you stand alone in mentioning the first one :)
Thank you so much! I think it's just that girls with ethnic hair have been programed for SO LONG that a straight is beautiful.."make it more WHITE" is beautiful... you know? Have a wonderful and blessed day ✌🏽🤟🏽
White Winter Hymnal (for what they do with their hands and fingers - need to watch the vid), O Come all Ye Faithful ( for the "lion king" spin they have), Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy ( for taking a classical instrumental and singing it).
This is actually from “Dear Evan Hansen” which is a Broadway musical from a few years back. My little sister could probably tell you a bunch about the whole storyline for it. From what I’ve gathered, the main character singing this song in the musical has social anxiety.
Missed you lots too. .your hair looks absolutely beautiful. .they sing so beautifully. .the chemistry between them is perfect. ...thanku. .red wine time cheers. .love you gorgeous lady. .god bless x
👉👉Great reaction! This song is from a musical!! The lead singer is Scott Hoying - Scott sings baritone / bass / falsetto. The second guy who sang is Mitch Grassi he is a counter tenor. Kirstie Maldonado is the mezzo soprano / alto Kevin Olusula is the beatboxer / tenor Matt Sallee is the bass / baritone ... 👉Matt replaced original member Avi Kaplan who was with the group from 2011 to 2017, other than that they have been the same members since 2011 (Kirstie and Mitch change their look a lot) 👉👉Request Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy, God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman and Winter Wonderland from PENTATONIX!!
Thank you Cecy! I appreciate all of the info on the group, truly. I am also quite familiar with Avi and his solo work (love him!) I have put your request on the xmas list. Have a fantastic day! ☮️💟
Hi JL. I’m playing catch-up with your videos... I didn’t watch much UA-cam last week. I thought you would like this one. As others have mentioned it’s from the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen where the title character suffers from social anxiety. From what I’ve read Scott, the lead singer here, identified a lot with this song and how he felt in high school, and he really wanted to do it with PTX. I think you can hear his emotions and a sort of isolation coming through in his voice and it made sense for him to sing lead for most of the song. As for Christmas songs That’s Christmas To Me is my favorite from PTX...it’s an original written by Scott and Kevin (the beatboxer)...it’s pure and simple and beautiful. (I know others have mentioned it so I’m just adding my vote) 😊
Well it shouldn't take long I haven't put a lot out. I loved this song and what it represents. I and many Veterans can identify with the message as many of us return home with social anxiety ranging from not feeling comfortable at the family function all the way to agoraphobia. I have put you Xmas request on the list, thank you for putting it in. Have a great day!
Jl Melrose I’ve wanted to say since Thanksgiving Day that I’m sorry about your brother’s unexpected passing. I hope you’ve been able to process things in your own way and that the week with your family wasn’t too stressful under the circumstances. I didn’t want to make any assumptions about your feelings and say the wrong thing but I wanted you to know that I was thinking about you.
Love your reactions Jl! "That's Christmas to Me" , "Mary did you know?" "God rest ye Merry Gentlemen" are my 3 favorite Christmas songs by them. The one thing different with these 3 songs is that they have the group's original Bass guy Avi Kaplan in the videos.
Your hair is always gorgeous and I love your reactions. One of my favorites Christmas videos is Pentatonix’s live version of “Silent Night”. They sound so beautiful and the arrangement is amazing. I think you’ll enjoy it. Otherwise, any of the Pentatonix Christmas songs that were requested in the comments will be great too 😊
Glad you're back! I fight with curls, too, so I feel yah :-) Would love to share several of my Christmas favorites, whether you tape them or not, though it would be great to see your reaction to them :-) Pentatonix - "Oh, Come, All Ye Faithful" official video ua-cam.com/video/Mj7Pr42rliI/v-deo.html Downhere - "How Many Kings" live in studio ua-cam.com/video/3iSivQmzJ_w/v-deo.html John Denver - 'Starwood in Aspen" live w/ orchestra ua-cam.com/video/WHpowa-Iq5I/v-deo.html

You got your mix down right ,good job.
Thank you :)
Scott certainly took the lead on this one.....which is fine. They sound and look good.
I didn't mean always the lead, but yes he was wonderful in this.

Thank you so much, I love Avi! I have made note of you request. have a great day!
Names:
Scott (baritone)
Mitch (tenor)
Kirstin (mezzo-soprano)
Kevin (beat-boxer/tenor)
Matt (bass, 2018-present), Avi (2011-2017)
Thank you Kristin.
Your hair is always gorgeous and I love your reactions.

Technically there is no.lead singer. Scott is a baritone and songs are often tailored for that male voice type.
Yes. thank you
I thought this song would be good for you. Scott killed it.
For PTX Christmas, do That's Christmas to Me, Mary Did You Know, and Little Drummer Boy.
Thank you Alan, I did love this song. I putt your request on the xmas list. Have a great day!
Glad you're back! I fight with curls, too, so I feel yah :-)
