Regrettably, the idea that bad spelling is to be avoided and editorial standards should high enough that basic mistakes are infrequent is long defunct.
As with lies, errors are now a marketable commodity.

Times accountants and shareholders do not see errors as a problem. They are little nuggets of gold!
Eventually the mistakes-for-money strategy will cease to work. Bad English will have been normalised to the extent that blunders lose their power to attract annoyed attention. The dwindling number of people who clung on to their understanding of good English will have given up trying to turn the tide by clicking-in and writing peeved posts about it.
I am not criticising people who do that. I did it myself until I realised what it is going on, and that by spending time on posting complaints we achieve nothing. On the contrary, we add fuel to the bonfire.

It's well worth it. All the male workers at the power station have been sent to the frontline. Ukraine can cut the power to millions of Russians. Ukraine can power Ukrainian homes and then sell it on the international market for billions because Ukraine is connected to the European grid.

I think its no coincidence that once they got their first batch of F16's they feel able to go on the offensive. Maybe the F16's provide security against the static front line coming under a counter or to provide combined forces push in Kursk or maybe both.
If appreciable numbers of (ethnic) Russian conscripts are impacted by the Kursk incursion, it will be interesting to see how Peter and Moscow will react.

My theory is that the CCP in exchange for certain kinds of war support took over military planning of the Ukraine war. I suspect that while such a scenario could explain why Russia isn't handing over wholesale amounts of military hardware, it might be pointing out that the CCP advisors aren't quite the military geniuses they thought they were. If so, it's nice for them that any planning inadequacies are hidden from public knowledge. 😊
