I am car detailer and do you that you should use a detailing spray before you take a towel and just start rubbing a towel over your pants. Prevent scratching, is it lubricant or a rinseless wash in spray bottle.Just something to think about.

PS. A friendly suggestion because you have a penchant for high end cars and motorcycles. Tell Christina to never wipe any show surface on even a pedestrian car or bike paint job, with a dry microfiber towel. Always use detailer or spray wax for lubrication.
Without some lubrication and/or including water when washing, a dry cloth will scratch the paint and not something you want to see on a $100K+ motorcycle.
She sprayed it with the cleaner before she came over :)

Being your mainly about builds, it was a matter of time before you sold one if not both of them. At one point they all end up selling these rare bikes and cars as the older we get. Hopefully it goes to a god home. Ride safe and god bless!
Yeah I'd rather invest that money into my build series at this point...plenty of time to build a collection later in life

I say keep the bike & sell one of the cars. The bike is way more limited, plus you said it yourself, you got super lucky to be chosen for the bike.
Jaret still not understanding Ohlins Shocks are gold and yellow, not a Ducati choice. Unless you are buying the aftermarket black series Ohlins, you are getting gold and yellow with the TiNi fork tubes. Its their signature
then why is the ohlins on the diavel black?
@@JaretCampisi IDK man, I’m looking at the specs and pictures of the Diavel 1260s and it certainly does have the yellow spring. V4 diavel does not appear to even have Ohlins

Hey Jaret. I know this video is base on you selling the bike but have to ask cuz you said It's your 2nd favorite bike and Diavel 1260s was your 1st. I was interested in get one of the 2 bikes and was Curious, what made you like? The Diavel 1260S more. Was it just a fun factor / midrange power cuz I'm having a hard time deciding. Good luck with sale and many more rides with your old man he's cool ass he'll always love those videos.
They are both really great bikes and it was difficult to choose which one to sell...I think I just prefer the low down grunt and more comfortable riding position on the Diavel as I've gotten older but you really can't go wrong with either one.

$120K, 60 months, 6.9% rate with 700 plus credit, it is only $2,400 per month if you pay the tax, tags, dealer fees upfront. Or, just pay with Bitcoin as it is less than 2 Bitcoins :) There is so much money out there with Bitcoin at $70K, it will sell in no time.

Here in France, my dealer has a the Lambo SF and Diavel. They tell me they have no way of selling them, but don't want to drop the price too much as it devalues the bike/Ducati/Lambo brand. In person they both look just as garish and loud in an ugly way as they look in pics and videos
Trying to sell or re-sell these bikes right now is mainly tough because of the economy and high interest rates
@@JaretCampisi Correct. I've just spent 40.000€ on a Multi RS and can't even begin to think about spending more than that on a motorcycle. I guess the market for premium and luxury motorcycles is quite sparse right now, especially as they're not great investments in the end

I hate to say it, but it almost makes 0 sense for you to own your own bike... I mean you have to ride the builds until X miles and test rides after parts... I mean one bike (diavel) sure, just to get out on your own and enjoy a "free ride" from camera etc, but otherwise your life seems to be on the build bike...
Didnt somebody offer you like 150 or 250 a year ago?
My gripe about these collector editions it's a shame to ride it, and a shame to let it just sit there unridden. Damned if you do, damned if you dont.

yeah that's pretty much what I'm realizing as well...don't have time to ride my own personal bikes and it makes more sense to just buy more build series bikes to create better content and give back to my patrons more as well.

Ugh painful to watch the dry towel on dry paint cleaning. Unless bike was perfectly clean causing major scratches in clear coat etc. even then I would only do with using a detailer spray to lubricate.

The truth is Ducati realised that they could overcharge for these bikes after pricing the Diavel at a slight premium and then seeing them sell for double. Now they just doubled the price to try and stop flipping and grab the money for themselves. In short, they are massively overpriced and are struggling to even get list now. The next Lambo bike will likely be the new 2025 Panigale and will not be taken so well at the price they will ask.
I do think they charged too much for these BUT I also know some that sold for 200k right after they were released so who knows...
@@JaretCampisi At the price they charged for these bikes they could easily afford to absolutely bling it to death & still make big profit.. Every single bit of carbon, lightweight everything etc etc. They took the piss & they know it. Let’s see if they do it again although it seems so with the Bentley Diavel
