@Y Chari That is NOT worship. Go and read your Bible and stop being a Pharisee. In the time of Jesus Christ, the Pharisees were annoyed with EVERYTHING because they were legalistic - even annoyed with something as simple as an alabaster of oil being spilled on our Lord and Savior, annoyed with someone being HEALED on a Sabbath etc. Before you criticize, judge and condemn, remove the LOG from your own eye first.
@Y Chari Your theology is TOTALLY flawed because ALL through the BIBLE you will see King David receiving music and dancing and sometimes involved in celebrations of his accomplishments eg after killing Goliath, after he was restored to his throne following Absalom’s coup and other examples and not ONCE did God tell David he was being worshiped but rather called him a man after His heart. Worship is a heavy WORD that you misappropriated. If you are a STUDENT of the Bible, you will be humble to realize that you misapplied the word “worship” to a simple birthday celebration which was nothing compared to the loud music and exuberant dancing of David. By the way, I DO NOT attend WINNERS chapel but I love and respect ministers all over the world which is what I am doing. The Bible asks you a question in Romans 14:4 which you have to humbly answer? Who are YOU that is judging Bishop Oyedepo? Is he serving you or God? If that is not enough, look at Romans 8:33,34; Matthew 7:1-5. You are enjoined to pray for these ministers, not to berate them. You were saved by grace and NOT works and Oyedepo was saved by grace, not works Ephesians 2:8. So, where is boasting? Romans 3:27? Boasting is excluded by the law of faith, not works- verses 27,28. If you are saved by faith, you walk and live by faith which brings HUMILITY. Romans 11,6. If you are saved by faith but return to works (which causes pride and criticism), then you are a Galatian Christian and you need to read Paul’s letter to the Galatians because that is the topic he addressed. I teach the Bible and I am humble to say that I know it. What you are doing is NOT pleasing to God Galatians 5:15. Start loving and stop criticizing and condemning and show some maturity. Shalom
@Y Chari There is NOTHING like God’s General in the Bible. This is a term coined by you and has no biblical relevance. Everyone, I repeat everyone is SAME before Almighty God. The entire church is the BODY of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ is the HEAD of the body and each member occupies a PART of this body 1 Corinthians 12. Study this because again I repeat your knowledge of the Bible is very poor. The time you spend posting unbiblical stuff could be spent studying 2 Timothy 2:15. Your reference to John the Baptist was hilarious and smirks of ignorance of the two dispensations - LAW and GRACE. In the chapter you quoted, Matthew 11:12, you alluded to him being the greatest but you forgot the lesson that Jesus Christ was teaching which is that anyone who is LEAST in the kingdom of God is GREATER than John the Baptist. John the Baptist belonged to dispensation of the LAW which Christ came to fulfill and do away with and roll in the dispensation of GRACE which is far better Hebrews 8:6; 10:1.
