My favourite hero in Mobile Legends is Hylos. I have a relatively slow reaction and hence the fast finger type of heroes are not suitable for me. I like Hylos because it is simple to understand and it allows me to focus on the flow of the game instead of the hero's technical execution.
My playstyle is to use it as a Roamer or the EXP lane as a second choice. I generally like to help out the jungler in the early game to get his buffs before sticking to our mid-lane mage to rotate and help out in the gold lane. My opinion is that the EXP lane heroes are difficult to heal as most of them are fighters and has some kind of self-sustainability, hence i rarely roam to the EXP lane.
My highest rank achieved is Mythical Immortal at 138 stars and Global Rank 4 as a Hylos. I play solo queue most of the time and occasionally duo or trio with online friends on my friend list. My solo queue win rate is around 58-60%.
My choice of emblem is the Common Emblem because it gives hybrid regeneration. Mana regeneration is important to me as Hylos because it is not optimal to cast skills using HP as a Hylos because you will not be able to tank a lot of damage in the late game.
My talents used:
Agility - 4% movement speed
Wilderness Blessing - 10% bonus movement speed in Jungle or River
Concussive Blast - AOE magic damage on next basic attack.
These talents allow me to always have mana regeneration and superior movement speed when roaming and I will be able to kite and juke the enemy heroes to waste their skills on me and be able to weave in and out of battles.
The Item Builds:
Warrior Boots (when there is a fast hitting marksman) / Tough Boots (When there are a lot of crowd control heroes) / Rapid Boots (When there are heroes without CC but has slow effects)
Dominance Ice - to reduce healing or sustain
Thunderbelt - slow on basic attack and grow hybrid defense indefinitely.
Blade Armor - against most fast hitting marksman
Guardian Helmet - fast hp regeneration outside of battle
Antique Cuirass - against heroes that uses skills as main source of damage
Radiant Armor - against mages with multiple instances of magic damage
Twilight Armor - against burst sources of damage such as Aldous, Lesley, Dyrroth.
Cursed Helmet - against squishy enemy line-up

Interesting, you don't prioritize clock of destiny first? Sometimes i also go for lightning truncheon or glowing wand for extra dps.
My build: encourage tough boots, clock of destiny, thunder belt, cursed helmet/dominance ice, lightning truncheon/glowing wand
Rest of our playstyle and thought process are pretty similar. I also take the same emblems. I just started playing a month ago, so haven't gotten to mythic yet, but now sitting at 80% win rate in Legend.
my key consideration is that the magic power does not translate into damage for Hylos Skill 2. It only contributes 20% to the damage. So I do not see a point stacking magic power for Hylos. I prefer to have defensive stats because the core role of a roamer tank is to be a sandbag for the team.
@@CorgiTVGaming true that the magic power is limited, but doesn't skill 2 proc the passives for lightning truncheon and glowing wand too? I still haven't tested which does more damage, usually I prioritize cursed helmet before them. They are usually the 5th or 6th item I take.
@@juanquntos7123 I can see glowing wand as a last item if you are playing EXP and not a main tank roamer - if you face very tanky line up: tank jungler, tanky exp and tank roamer. I don’t see a use for lightning truncheon in any build at all.
@@CorgiTVGaming makes sense, I usually only take glowing wand towards end of game if I haven't been dying and we're already winning.
@@CorgiTVGamingyou need to understand that the 20% is just the scaling of the s2. S2 passive multiply the damage everytime it hits a target, so having more magic power will deal more damage the longer u are in their face compared to none.

Agree, but conditional that you get to basic attack the enemy heroes frequently, sometimes it may not be so. In theory, it is a valid viewpoint.
What do u think about clock of destiny and radiant armor ?
Some players prefer COD to be their first core item. To me, both COD and Radiant are situational items.
@@ahmedalarabi2199 I think clock is essential. Always the first item I buy after boots. But I'll try his build too and see how that works out

I usually use Minotaur and Hylos, depend on the hero composition. Sometime also Edith and Masha
Usually just Hylos, it does not get banned. In the roam position, I would play Hilda (My second most familiar hero), Minotaur (rare case but i do play it because I have all its skins) or Belerick (as a counter to Hylos).

It is also a benefit because hylos can fill 3 positions, as roamer, exp or jungler

Me too. We have the same hero pool. I think hylos can be a midlaner if you have a support roamer like Angela or floryn, at least you won't lose a frontliner in your lineup.

I don't use thunderbelt anymore, it's not worth it on hylos
Why not? Difficult to accumulate the stacks?
@@CorgiTVGaming yeah because the usual gameplay loop for hylos is that you initiate, tank the damage, get out and recall to base. I've noticed it barely went past 15 stacks after 15 minutes but when I used tanky exp it's usually got around 20-25 stacks. I buy cursed and guardian helmet instead.

@@azrulashraf00 Yeah either this or encourage, I personally think Encourage gives better KDA because I get assists even if i did not damage the enemy hero when he died, so I get gold from that assist too.
