I'm 56 and I've just found out about them! Also, if you want to stay updated on my BTS Reaction Videos, here's my BTS playlist link: ua-cam.com/play/PLxywJzIUpd2sRt-WLh_svJF55DsfbJ-GW.html
@@KTMusicGroup OK, I’m subscribed and I’ll travel on your BTS trip. Don’t forget to turn on captions for the music videos. The lyrics really count on their nonEnglish songs. Depending on what you watch, of course, the lyrics frequently approach poetry. The English songs were all put out to really lighten the moods of everybody in shutdown. They are much simpler, lighter. One of my real favorites is Dynamite! Hope you like your journey.
Like what you said and BTS Leader, Rapper & Producer, RM also said "Music and performances transcend all languages, races and countries" Suga, Rapper & Producer of BTS ever said "You'll like BTS songs if you listen without prejudice"
I think you would LOVE BTS' "On Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima": BTS (방탄소년단) 'ON' Kinetic Manifesto Film : Come Prima - UA-cam There's also a great behind-the-scenes/mini-documentary on their collaboration with LA-based producers, gospel groups, UCLA marching band, etc. in creating this track: BTS (방탄소년단) 'ON' Commentary Film : Dialogue - UA-cam Hope you enjoy and thank you for giving them a chance!!💜💜💜
Don't be surprised that your sister is a BTS fan at 63 years old. ARMY is the largest fandom in history, we are made up of people from all over the world, of different genders, ideologies, races, ages. About a third of us are over 40. Their songs, talents, personalities unite us. You mentioned that they dance well, but the main thing is that their voices are very good, the 7 different from each other, with great technique. They participate in the composition, lyrics and production of most of their music; at the beginning it was the 3 rappers but the 4 vocalists already do it too (with the group or for solo songs), which is not common in the kpop industry
If you want more of a tribute to MJ, their 2020 MMA performance of Dynamite has an amazing dance break that is unmistakably a tribute Dynamite MMA 2020 - ua-cam.com/video/Ves2rzVyRvA/v-deo.html
MJ was their idol when they were younger and still is. Yes, Dynamite is from the 80's version. The dance moves and the style. With the MJ moves. 👍👍 This was dedicated to the fans called Army and the whole world 🌍 because of the pandemic. Bringing Happiness and Positive vibes. BTS sure did a Awesome job. I love BTS forever 💜🤟
This is straight up Jackson 5/The Jackson’s vibes. “Blame it on the boogie” “I want you back”, Off The Wall is referenced. I think as a group in general you’re totally right, New Edition, lots of classic 80’s and 90’s r&b, for sure. But this song is a straight Jackson family tribute.
They actually started off as a hip-hop group and then moved into more mature genres from there. Most of us ARMY say that BTS is their genre because they can and have done almost anything. The more you react to you will see that, lol. I also love the fact your sister loves them so much. I am 53 year old ARMY. Thank you for a great reaction 💜💜💜
I really enjoy your bts reactions. Tip: Since you’ve watched the two all English MV’s going forward click on the CC’s their lyrics are another level. From a 65 year old grandma. #army 💜
Your sister's got it going on. I'm with her all the way on BTS. They do it all, in all genres, and all to perfection. Even their individual tracks are absolutely outstanding!! Check out Black Swan, Singularity, and their Live performances such as Dimple & Piped Piper. Watching you from Australia and really enjoying your reactions. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Really enjoying your reactions.
Glad to see you liked the songs!!! Would love to see you react to Black Swan On: Kinetic Manifesto Mic Drop Just remember if you do to put on closed captions (CC) for subtitles.
If you like funk; I have a dear friend who is like an uncle to me, who passed away last year due to COVID. He played bass guitar in various bands since the 70s, and the songs he loved most were the ones with funky bass lines. So every time I hear a song with funky bass I want to play it for Brian, but I can’t. So I’m going to pass them on to you and you can appreciate them for him. The first one is Bullet to the Heart by Jackson Wang. That one is in English, and you won’t believe that a Korean kid could have such a raspy voice. There is a music video too. The second one is Dingga by Mamamoo, and you have to turn on the closed captions to get the English subtitles, but it’s worth it. There are about 4 others that I can’t remember off the top of my head, but if you do another reaction I’ll let you know then.
There is another SK group that often gives me New Edition vibes called TXT. You're more musically aware than I am so you may think I'm off, but their songs Magic and Blue Hour are the first ones that come to mind.
This song just made the list of top 500 songs ever made per the magazine "Rolling Stone". It was # 346! Way cool!
I’m a bit behind. I found these guys about 3 months ago. Talk about a bright light, this group shines one. It’s been a pleasure. I’m 78.
