Well, in this excerpt she's pretty clear why Chinese and Russian loans are more attractive to countries than IMF & World Bank loans without using words like "Greed", "Capitalism", "Evil", "Rentier Class" and "Rules Based Order", and without pointing fingers at the individuals, countries, organizations, industries and investment funds that use short term, high interest loans to control the world. Neighbors of China prosper with China’s rise for past 40 years. US and EU prosper for centuries and yet their neighbors remain very under or undeveloped and abjectly poor till today. From this perspective, democracy is a trap to perpetuate poverty and exploitation of the poor for the benefits and continued dominance of the very rich developed West. Need we say more that China is increasingly loved by the poor South but feared or hated by the rich North for disrupting so called international orders.
It is said if it works don’t fix it but where it has failed so miserably for so long with no ray of hope, it is time to realize that change must be made where changes are undeniably and urgently required.

Oh that's hysterical and beyond ignorant and hypocritical
China prospered because of western consumerism
It's biggest trade partners are Europe and the usa
China holds so much us debt issued bonds because that's what keeps their export prices low and import prices low
China has frequently pegged the yuan to the dollar
Numerous western companies outsourced their manufacturing to china
Their neighbours like japan and south Korea prospered because of their innovation
      Europe's neighbours are poor
Wow the stupidity of a certain people never fails to astound me
      Europe's neighbours are in asia
Anyone who says democracy is a trap is an absolute idiot
The best thing people like you can do is to stop making comments on these subjects until you learn to research what you are commenting on
Since that's unlikely to ever happen it's best you keep your ignorant bias vitriolic opinions to yourselves
China wouldn't be where it is today if not for the west
The trade partnerships with the so called global south are insignificant compared to china and the wests trade agreements

The developed economies failed to understand that developing economies or underdeveloped economies/countries will prefer Social progress index as best way to measure standard of living as gross domestic products. It means, underdeveloped economies need basic necessities of life and modern infrastructure.

    • @IrishCinnsealach
      @IrishCinnsealach 11 місяців тому

Oh will they prefer the social progress index will they
The index where the top 2 tiers and the top ten are all western countries and all in Europe except for 4
And the bottom tiers 5 and 6 are pretty much all in Africa
So come on then genius let's see your explanation of why the developing countries will prefer an index they rank bottom in vs an economic index where they also rank bottom in
Since you just claimed that index is the best way to measure quality of living it doesn't bode well for the developing world
Let's have it right shall we
Because you saw a chart somewhere that ranked the countries that made the biggest improvement from the previous years score you thought that it was a positive thing to reference yet unfortunately for you what you failed to understand was that in any annual countries index those that are in the bottom half will always have the biggest percent of improvement
It's doesn't change the fact they are still bottom
So no actually the way a person from a developing country would prefer to use the social index instead of a economic index ae those who have misinterpreted the index just like you
If you had any Idea what you're talking about you'd know that the lowest ranked gdp per capita countries are also just as they are in the social index they are the ones who make up the highest percentage of gdp per capita growth
And I'm not going to tell you why that is to prove my point that you don't know what you are talking about
      I'll give you a clue
If you have a starting point of 1000 capital year beginning
And I have 100,000 beginning year capital
And year ending we compare eachothes percent of interest gained
You could have a 60 percent gain
While I only have 10 percent gain
Does that mean you had a better year than me
No because 10 percent of 100 thousand is more than 60 percent of 1 thousand
      Do you comprehend
      Probably not

Per capital GDP in globalized markets where competition is few(oligopolies) or domestically fierce(saturated retail), and foreign investors ROI finance lending ratios are outrageous/oppressive resulting in higher taxation levied by Gov to the citizens at every turn…and with short terms aka constraints lending. How about they use what small/midsize/large corporations use, “a (national) balance sheet” in addition to GDP & other financial ratios aka a more detailed & comprehensive view to move forward in a more fair manner. IMF/World bank/WTO etc are like Loan shark capitalists in a nutshell, the smaller economies of scale nations better off just going on shark tank or dragons den to pitch to some private lenders smh.

How dare Europe rank the happiest through detailed statistical analysis
How dare Europe create the languages that make women swoon
They middle should use their own metrics for their continents
Wait who is responsible for defining the continents
      A European
      Best not use that then
You can put it in the bin along with the name africa Caribbean asia
You know since those pesky Europeans are the ones who name them

Since that was the French who drew that line

Exactly, and well said! The comments are praising her speech because it supposedly "lectures" the head of the IMF "like a child," without considering the long-term consequences for what she's advocating.

She is entirely wrong, you cannot borrow to live, a hospital is a form of life not an investment. That means you are confused and will not be successful. Hospitals are a result of successful investments. Investments are money making ventures not life living estates. The country is doomed

@@thebeatnumber There is no begging involved genius. They ask for loans from the world bank, like most countries in the world that are not sanctioned, literally. Heck, her entire speech in this video is about those lines of credit. Why do ignorant people say stupid stuff online like they understand what's going on in the world? know your place and stop talking about things above your intellectual level. The world would be a better place if you ignorants stayed silent.

@@oldmanjesus9855 Do the United States, Japan, Germany or China ask for loans from the World Bank? No. Because the World Bank was created for poor 3rd world hovels like the ones in Sub Saharan Africa and the Caribbean. Imagine being stupid enough not to understand how the economic order of the world works and that you're basically at the bottom of the pyramid as far as financial independence is concerned.

No because those countries are the only reason imf loans are possible
Where do you think the money comes from?
the United States, china,Japan, and France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom Brazil India russia
Are the top ten contributing countries to the imf fund
So what are you saying then
That those countries should just drop their imf quota and the third world hovels can find someone else to borrow off
You're the one who doesn't understand the economics
