Is it because the projection attacks are solely regarded as skill damage (contrary to Ayato's skill for example)? Also any thoughts on Yaoyao and her energy generation for a comp with AlHaitham?
Nah Nahida works perfecly with N4D as her fourth NA actually reset her ICD, so she always deal 2 dendro apllication in 4 string NA. Unlike Al-Haitham 6 string NA, which takes longer time.
Tbh imo the trailer was kind of a flop. They’re releasing the coolest character they’ve made to date and instead of putting him on the art and putting the spotlight on him they put the focus on an event we’ve already done twice. I mean I get why they did it cause cny but it was still disappointing for me personally, it would’ve been nice if they split the artwork into two parts (Alhaitham in the desert on one side and lantern rite on the other) or even just put Haitham in with the others celebrating lantern rite but it’s whatever
Dendro was an excellent adittion to the game for F2P players. You can get very consistent dmg and dont need to incessant farm sets to do it, just stack EM on a hyperbloom activator and you're good to go.
I got up to 70 pity, guaranteed before her banner ended. But it's okay, she should get a rerun relatively soon. Just imagine all the people who missed Hu Tao on her last banner 13 months ago now.
She should get a rerun in 3.6, anyway Al-Haitham is fine without Nahida, DMC is still viable for him but expect ~15% less team damage, severe ER issue, and other minor issues like comfort and Circle Impact.
Al Haitham isn't broken because he's broken, he's broken because Dendro is broken. Well he's not broken but not too far off it. Closer than the others from this 3.X patch if you ignore Nahida, idk.
@@ravioli000 He isn’t on the same level as hu tao or ayaka, so I wouldn’t call him broken dps. But well, is better to wait for his release first I think.
The most in depth character summary I could image. Do you introduce all new characters like this? NOBODY else does character in depth shit like this. Earned a sub today.
25:09 the discussion around pull value and lack of endgame is pretty interesting. I think you’re right in judging characters by their floor since the only difficult content is 36 abyss but for accounts that can 36 fairly comfortably, I imagine the floor and character pull value is less relevant. It’s still a question worth answering of course, there are probably tons of fresh accounts looking for insight but personally, I look at your content more as “how do I best use this character” as opposed to “is this character worth pulling”.
@Doubtful My hyperbloom team (c0 Nahida and Yelan, c6 xq, c2 kuki) does amazing in 2nd half floor 12, if my unit don't die from corrosion, I can probably clear it under 50s or so
Hard agree with the last part, I'm a week 1 dolphin players that pulls every five star unit indiscriminately because I'm a collector and really love to have a variations in my account. The talk of abyss is a past for me, I love to have the most enjoyment from my units.
@Doubtful Nah, I use on-field Kokomi with Raiden/Nahida/Albedo against the 12-3-2 wolves and that was the comfiest clear I've gotten in a while. All C0, no 5 star weapons and unironically fun to see the HP bar jump back and forth between corrosion and healing
Dendro is just so good, easily the best addition to this game. Most dendro team have high floors and can easily outperform other F2P Investment teams, but doesn’t get much from whaling and hyper investment, which is a good thing lol.
@@d3m3nt3d_t3acup_ C2 Nahida, and to a certain extend C2 Nilou for bloom team. But unlike the general crit based teams, weapons/refinements and artifacts investment matters a lot less, that’s very appreciable.
Eeeeh. I'd argue hyperbloom is so good it's toxic for the game actually. It has so high a floor at so low a barrier for entry that MHY will have to balance abyss around said hyperbloom floor. And it's very dangerous for pre-dendro non-meta units.
@@infine-8222 I feel the exact same way, like we’re at a point where I don’t understand why bother playing xiangling when a single hyperbloom does a little less than a pyronado vape. Like my abyss runs nowadays are either hyperbloom on both sides or nilou bloom + hyperbloom and it clears every floor between 30 seconds and 1 min…
Happy birthday!!! Thank you for the amazing info for this entire year, May you have many lovely years ahead! Thanks for the pre release analysis on Mr. Smarty pants
I kinda wish I had a xiphos because the umbrella is a little goofy, maybe I’ll refine an iron sting for cosmetic reasons it either way I’m glad to know a little more about him, he looks so fun and running him in quicken with Nahida, miko and coockie sounds hella fun
You can run him with Sapwood just for looks, it’s really not a bad option and you can chuck it on Bennett or DMC when you get an upgrade. Iron Sting had its prime, but unless you plan on keeping it on him forever there really isn’t another character it’s best on (especially for appearances). Very expensive to spend 5 billets on it just to eventually stop using it like I did.
The other big difference between Nahida E and his mirrors is the potential for Aoe, his 3 mirror attack is just in front of him, meanwhile Nahida E has a 360 radius, it's honestly not even comparable in some situations.
Best thing about Nahida E is she's not only 360 radius but also huge range, covers most of abyss arena. Amazing when you don't have a grouper - and her strong dendro application discourages running anemo units since it's so hard to swirl.
Nahida have the best AOE in entire game. Because she not only do her own aoe in wide area, she also take aoe of her team mates to this range (effectively extending Raiden E range for example)
I have Nahida, and find no reasons to pull Alhaitham. Even if they are gonna buff Dendro in Abyss, Nahida will shine more tbh. And the new Hyperbloom team - Nahida, Ei, Xingqui and Yelan is a really good team because everything works off field and with easy artifacts farming.
Part of why I love using her with a ranged on-fielder (mainly Kokomi with EM Raiden as the HB trigger). I don't really like using Nahida on-field since she's so vulnerable to attacks with her low hp and def so Haitham is a welcome change to switch things up a bit
@@Hmm_okk_lol xingqiu alone can carries the hydro dept on this team no need to bring the xq wannabe gals as other unit like anemo buffer/crowd control, another aoe sub dps, a shielder, or even a utility healer much more needed here. and hydro resonance is sucks for rest the teammates, bringing xq on yln team is just to justify that she is not a better hydro enabler than the og and the fact that she has a horrendous er issue lol.
Imo, Haitham turned out to be pretty similar to Yelan in that he shows more potential parallel with established same-element supports rather than orthogonal with them (Nahida and Xingqiu being the supports in question). Main difference is that Yelan is off-field with the small potential as on-field (to benefit from her own A4) while Haitham is strictly on-field, giving Yelan an edge in drafting teams. Still gonna pull for him because dendro's floor is just so high that I can probably 36* with relative ease using a Lvl 1 Haitham hyperbloom comp, and I'm on a quest to collect all dendro 5*
I think the other important difference is that he's parallel to another (better, I guess) 5 stars, meaning you have to go and pull for both of them, I already have Nahida and I'm gonna pull for Haitham cause I like his design, but I can't imagine there's any other insentive to get him
There's a big difference tho: While what you said is true, Yelan is an upgrade over XQ and she can replace him in almost every team. Alhaithan isn't a sidegrade to Nahida, he's straight up worst in most scenarios. It's also not really "paired with the same element", it's just paired with Nahida.
@@bobjones1934who’s mad? i’m laughing at you bcz you still care ab mEtA dps units this long into the game💀 it’s kinda pathetic, and i could care less ab the gender of characters i’m playing. i have all those units you mentioned, besides ayaka cz shes ugly. plus, if you’re starting this late into the game, then your best option is dendro anyways, rather than farming mora/books to upgrade talents. you are now my bitch and will only be left on read🥱 now shut up, bobjones.
youre the only genshin strategy utuber i enjoy watching honestly. no one else really has your level of analysis, they just fill 20 minutes with hmm you should pull this character because they are good but if you don't want to you don't have to :3
your laugh at the end cracked me up, that was great I pulled for Nahida because I had a feeling that Alhaitham is going to need her on his team and that feeling ended up being on point. Still sucks that we don't have any decent Nahida alternatives though. Not asking for better, just for comparable.
Note for Black Sword. If you are playing a Nilou Bloom Team, it is possible to run a no healer team by using it on your on field in conjunction with Prototype Amber on Nahida. Prior I was running a team with Ayato and DMC doing this, the XQ + Al promising looks promising.
I definitely feel the "Hyperbloom has a high floor" I haven't been playing long and my Nahida-Kuki-Barbara-Team has the same, if not a bit higher DPS than my Raiden-national (Raiden being my only lvl. 90 Character) and I have spent lot of time farming Emblem compared to Dendro/Gilded. (Of course Raiden-Hyperbloom with XQ absolutely shreds everything, but then I wouldn't have a second team)
@@Forakus c0 raiden may not put out enough damage to justify farming for new 45+ players but c2 raiden is still very worth running as either hyper carry or rational.
He’ll be one of our first melee Dendro units, so you can get him now to cushion the future transition to Hydro Traveler. Or try meme DPS YaoYao. (We don’t know Kaveh’s weapon type yet.)
Based on Tighnari as comparison, I think dps character that scale on EM really want a LOT of EM from other source since they went for e.dmg and crit for goblet and circlet. Tighnari's personal damage pre-Nahida and post-Nahida is sooo much different
i haven't messed with dendro at all and i've always wanted a male sword wielding main dps for personal preferences and never had reason to pull for ayato as a childe main, so i'm excited to get into dendro with a personally enjoyable character
I've already got Nahida and Tighnari (from "losing" a 50/50), so I feel like I'm kind of set on dendro characters. Alhaitham looks sort of interesting, but I'll probably just keep saving for Yelan.
Im stuck between al haitham and yelan cause xingqiu is stucked with my cyno quickbloom. So i need yelan for the raiden national. But I can't just ignore al haitham's muscles 🥲. I hope we win our 50/50s
@@joaki6826 I have all but sara? she justs buffs attack and regenerates energy currently this time, on my way to C6 and shes level 20, Fischl is underbuilt level 60? lisa is level 50 and her support potential is locked on A2. So yeah my current hypercarry is mona, bennet, kazuha, raiden but a nuke is terrible at the abyss 😭.
So Alhaitham is not a Dendro Kekqing but rather Dendro Ayato? He looks quite versatile and I like versatile units. Definitely going for him since I have two PJC.
yeah keqing is more quick swappy bursty damage and isnt really enabling reactions, also she pretty much only in aggravate teams. Ayato is much better comparison, good on field damage, good application, driver for lots of teams. I think if you have nahida or tighnari he's probably not necessary but I have neither so he will be a good addition to my account
Him being dubbed Dendro Keking isn't because of similar playstyle but rather his kits visually are identical to Keking. You can hold skill to aim and release and he'll dash through and his burst is less cool version of Keking's Judgement Cut
No, Ayato has off field application with his burst. Alhaitham has no off field application. He's purely an on field DPS like Keqing, Hu Tao, Eula, etc.
As for your commentary on Dendro base damage/low investment being super good, you’re entirely right. I invested in too many characters to start my account, and so I have a very low level hyperbloom team. It’s literally lvl 40 Barbara/EM Raiden/dendroMC/Collei and I destroy lvl 70 domains and got further in spiral abyss than with my lvl70 itto hyper carry team lmao
That comparison is biased though. Every single hyper carry team in game is sh!t until you are hyper invested. Then it start to be comparable to normal teams. And yes, that includes Hyper Raiden, which is 2x better than hyper Itto. Any half baked team with half invested sub dps will out damage hyper team at your level. Compare Dendro team to something like: Fischl, XQ, Bennett, flex driver .. and you will start to see closer results. EM Raiden would still win, but with much smaller margin.
If u have nahida, and just want to do dendro reactions like me, I think it’s better to save primos for maybe hydro archon ,c2 nahida or any other element unit cause I don’t think we can ever have reactions on him as nahida or even dendro traveler elemental burst. Maybe I’m just too dependent on nahida for great dendro application.
Fr I already have nahida, she is vv cracked and I can only pull for one character on the next patch (leaning heavily to yelan amd maybe weapon). Maybe I'll wait for the rerun since I still simp lol
The Ayato of dendro basically, nothing special but not a bad pull. I feel he can gradually gain more value as more characters with dendro focus get released
Black sword buffs charge attacks, but Benny's CA has higher scaling (lol). Still an ok pick because free crit rate. And Harbinger being so high is why I keep 5 copies of every 3* weapon
I'm surprised you didn't talk about Sac Sword, it gives him the ER he needs and effectively 2 E uses everytime at R4/R5, which increases his 3 mirror uptime and thus increasing his DPS. It's especially good in co-op and overworld, basically always has Q available and best mirror uptime.
I don't think Dendro is a mistake. Rather I think this is how Mihoyo wished the game they created was. 4* or some 5* don't need to be broken to clear abyss with ease. They can just let themselves be carried by the elements. Collei as bad as she is let you clear abyss in a reasonable time with the right team just because her element is busted. I think Mihoyo wished they went this way making elements and their reaction strong instead of creating specific broken early unit (Bennett, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Fischl....) Imagine if vape was like this? Amber could also have been used even for trivia like outside of just overworld and tryhard. The current Mihoyo would most likely buff the reactions and nerfs the early mistake characters if they could.
For now, I’ll probably skip Alhaitham. I already have Nahida for support longevity, and for dps units, I already have Tighnari built. I just don’t really see him being a necessity for my account. I think this video solidified that, but as it is ore-release, I guess we’ll still see if he does get changed. Anyway, I wish anyone who wants him luck that they get him!
Isn't that ideal? If you like the character and want him you'll be able to get them and enjoy the hell out of their teams to beat all the hardest content, but if you don't care for them you can skip without regret? IDK, sounds great to me. I'll be pulling personally, especially if Kuki is on his banner too!
I feel the same. I don't even have nahida and have been clearing abyss with DMC. Yelan takes more priority for me and I totally regretted when I missed her banner last time.
I completely agree, my most stacked/invested in character is easily Nahida. And I use her in a hyperbloom Ayato team so it really just complicate things. If he ends up being really really strong I MAY get him. But I’d rather have Yelan ALL DAY
dont worry to much about dmg ceiling folks, cause every next update all you got will only be minigames, breaking brick, shooting baloon, chasing baloon, chasing people,
Onfielders are very rarely short on energy. And since you should be running him with dendro resonance the energy issue is non existent. 40 energy cost is too low for the amount of dmg output it provides. That’s not how balancing works
Great video, that is enough reason for me to pull for him. Not because I need 36 stars, I can already do that, but because he seems insanely fun to play, so I want him as long as he's decent.
I just wanted a bit more damage on his E. +45% Atk/EM on Activation and 10% Atk/EM on Projection attacks would be good. His NA/CA too. They're really low, sadly.
I wonder who'll work better as a dps in quicken teams, him or Tighnari. Also it sucks that so many new characters have er issues, especially those who need their bursts
@@Internextion Tighnari as a support? Only his skill have some 'supportive' traits, because enemies won't target you during it's duration. I always thought about him as a spread dmg dealer

In that sense, he’s similar to Yae, which is why they work so well together. Meanwhile Alhaitham would be your primary on field character and main damage dealer
@@silverboiiii4205 tighnari's most optimal team has him being a support for yae. his damage is relatively low and he exists to apply dendro, and maybe proc favonius or instructors.
I'm so excited January 18th can't come any closer 😂 I already built Beidou and still building Kuki Shinobu for Alhaitham in a pure spread comp ♥️ and idk, I wanna put Nahida in his team to serve as a battery and EM provider 😅
My man here got me into my last test to see if I pull or not, the patch comes up and if I love how he plays in the test I'll get him but the kit honestly sounds janky and I can clear abyss with no problem already. If I end up skipping I wonder if giving Hutao another chance would finally work, I love her and her jp va but boy I dislike the way she plays.
Dont know if zajef will see this, but Can you let us know about Yao yao's synergy with Al haitham if you can? especially in terms of energy requirements or other support features because we who will pull for al haitham will most likely end up pulling Yao yao as well, so it'd be nice to know if she's worth building in comparison to other support options
Yaoyao doesn't generate that much energy, but still viable if you want a healer. Generally though, the best second dendro would be Nahida followed by dmc. You can put Yaoyao instead as the 2nd dendro if you're ready to somehow cover Alhaitham's energy requirement (by either more fav weapons or higher ER on him). Alternatively you can also just play 3 dendros + 1 electro if you want for maximum comfort. Like Alhaitham + Nahida/dmc + Yaoyao + . This will make ER very ez and Yaoyao also heals. In general though, Yaoyao is not that great because Kuki exists. Unless you really want to play offensive electro chars like Fischl or Yae with him, Kuki is just really nice to cover healing + electro application for quicken. And then you can have a 2nd dendro (Nahida/dmc) and a hydro (yelan/xq) for quickbloom.
Yao Tao is better than Kuki if build double Dendro double electro. Because Yae and Fischl is better sub dps in aggravate/spread. Al-Haytham is not a quick swap unit, so going without healer/shielder is not an easy feat. But you could still argue that Zhongli might just be better than both Yaoyao and Kuki in that team
Pull him, not only cuz we won't get many husbandso based in leaks, but also I can already 36* abyss and nahida feels awful to play on field, girl is much better off

I feel like you skimped a little on the topic of how much damage he does with his skill and burst. Yes he'll be good in hyperbloom, same as any other Dendro but what I really want to know is: how good is he in dealing "raw" Dendro damage? Could he (reasonably) be played as kind of a Dendro Itto / Yoimiya?
Yes. Alhaitham has the best NA scalings of all sword users (someone like Kaeya has marginally higher values but a lot slower attack speed) AND he can trigger spreads with a lot of his hits. Think of Keqing but with much higher base values, extra projection damage, using stronger reaction (Spread is x1.25 vs Aggravate x1.15) and having powerful A4 passive buffing already strong projection damage by a lot. The only thing keeping Alhaitham's power in check is his lack of offield presence and less flexibility with quickswap than someone like Keqing.
@@Progeusz you think in hyperbloom, with xingqiu, yelan and kuki, he will be a significant upgrade over dmc? I think i will swap dmc for yaoyao in my aggra keqing, but i kinda like dmc, and is cool to do 2 E with Yelan.
Superb video! Now I have a very good idea of how Alhaitham works and how I actually need him, and my final decision after watching the video is skip him and maybe pull for Yelan or wait for Deiya if she is good enough

I have nahida but I plan to use him like a driver for hyperbloom since it's my favourite reaction and my nahida teams do great in the abyss but I want good dendro on both sides since I've yet to 36* abyss. I also really like kaveh and hope I can use them together in the future
@Bob Jones my c0 catch Raiden is fine already I'd much rather have fun with new characters than get cons. Plus I'm having more fun with her in hyperbloom teams anyway. I know the characters I have can 36* the abyss just not at their current investment levels on my account, so I'm gonna keep getting fun new characters while slowly building strong characters I enjoy playing. I know I'll get there eventually but I want to have fun along the way. @@mirandaschneck8451 yeah, ignore that troll. There's a big difference between conventional teams like international vs dendro teams, the former needing a lot more investment but have higher ceiling the longer you play. 36 is not that hard and people have been getting it on new accounts much much faster because dendro teams require lower investment (specifically bloom types just needing triple EM). Fastest I remember seeing was a 6-days old F2P account doing bloom + hyperbloom teams.

It can also be BiS for anemo/dendro travaler and arguably in some build cases be great on electro travaler in dendro comps. Funny enough it lends to a meme build with a full EM Qiqi in a melt comp with C6 bennet.
Even when I can't always 36 star abyss I always pull for design, personality and voice over. I don't play child characters so I'm never gonna get Nahida. That means Alhaitham is great pick for me ;)

@Doubtful maybe that's why they said if their units don't die from corrosion XD
@Doubtful Nah, I use on-field Kokomi with Raiden/Nahida/Albedo against the 12-3-2 wolves and that was the comfiest clear I've gotten in a while. All C0, no 5 star weapons and unironically fun to see the HP bar jump back and forth between corrosion and healing

I laughed so much hearing his Collie’s skills explanation 😂. Man Zajeff is so funny
He forgot that Colleis E animation is realy loooooooong.
Not really. He's cringe. And he looks like a dwarf too, which is even more cringe.
Dendro is just so good, easily the best addition to this game. Most dendro team have high floors and can easily outperform other F2P Investment teams, but doesn’t get much from whaling and hyper investment, which is a good thing lol.
Only C2 nahida can make a significant difference in dendro teams but it's C2 so can be achievable with reruns
@@infine-8222 So far, abyss is still a joke, and with Mihoyo’s attitude towards endgame i doubt it’ll ever change.
Lovely video. Your ending "rant" was really nuanced and had me hooked. Great job as always!
It's likely they put xiphos either next weapon banner or the homa/aqua banner so I'm hoping to get a few copies if I pull on those banners
I wished on weapon banner when i was new to the game , and didn't knew shit and i got xiaphos and it's still level 1 never use it
I'm glad I pulled jade cutter since I don't have to worry about looks or power
just put mistsplitter man
The other big difference between Nahida E and his mirrors is the potential for Aoe, his 3 mirror attack is just in front of him, meanwhile Nahida E has a 360 radius, it's honestly not even comparable in some situations.
28:09 Alhaitham being the epitomy of 'do what the fuck you want' feels very in character for him.
me whenever I watch a Zajef video: "I like your funny words magic man"
Imo, Haitham turned out to be pretty similar to Yelan in that he shows more potential parallel with established same-element supports rather than orthogonal with them (Nahida and Xingqiu being the supports in question).
I agree and Im a devout Al Haitham simp thats a huge factor imo
I think the other important difference is that he's parallel to another (better, I guess) 5 stars, meaning you have to go and pull for both of them, I already have Nahida and I'm gonna pull for Haitham cause I like his design, but I can't imagine there's any other insentive to get him
"Small potential" lol
@@Blomgrum ☆
There's a big difference tho:
While what you said is true, Yelan is an upgrade over XQ and she can replace him in almost every team.
Alhaithan isn't a sidegrade to Nahida, he's straight up worst in most scenarios.
It's also not really "paired with the same element", it's just paired with Nahida.

your laugh at the end cracked me up, that was great
I pulled for Nahida because I had a feeling that Alhaitham is going to need her on his team and that feeling ended up being on point. Still sucks that we don't have any decent Nahida alternatives though. Not asking for better, just for comparable.
Better nahida is not gonna happen unless they decide to powercreep a busted unit.
Your power level of a character explanation was so good
When the reaction itself is so strong that it somehow stole the spotlight from the characters.
Finally, my mistake of R5ing Iron Sting for Kazuha because I wasn’t as informed at the time will not be for naught.
Note for Black Sword. If you are playing a Nilou Bloom Team, it is possible to run a no healer team by using it on your on field in conjunction with Prototype Amber on Nahida. Prior I was running a team with Ayato and DMC doing this, the XQ + Al promising looks promising.

I definitely feel the "Hyperbloom has a high floor"
I haven't been playing long and my Nahida-Kuki-Barbara-Team has the same, if not a bit higher DPS than my Raiden-national (Raiden being my only lvl. 90 Character) and I have spent lot of time farming Emblem compared to Dendro/Gilded. i haven't messed with dendro at all and i've always wanted a male sword wielding main dps for personal preferences and never had reason to pull for ayato as a childe main, so i'm excited to get into dendro with a personally enjoyable character

Just spectacular content dude. The depth and level of explanation is just perfect while being entertaining as well
My cope for the Alhaitham nerfs were because Mihoyo though that he would completely powercreep Tighnari as a quickswap DPS.
Good point
tbf if you play him as quickswap he needs a *FUCK TON* of ER for the next rotation, so it's never his optimal playstyle anyway
Just like with the Wanderer, they were super careful to not powercreep Xiao
yh that's why they trashed his Burst scaling.
Alhaitham isn’t quickswap. His cooldowns are way too long. He’s more on Cyno’s lane than Tignari.
I don't know why they decided to nerf him even when he got a lot of gameplay issues
I feel this, Nahida is just sooooo strong. Like any team I use her in becomes the better team
Fr I already have nahida, she is vv cracked and I can only pull for one character on the next patch (leaning heavily to yelan amd maybe weapon). Maybe I'll wait for the rerun since I still simp lol
The Ayato of dendro basically, nothing special but not a bad pull. I feel he can gradually gain more value as more characters with dendro focus get released
well, alhaitham is much more complicated to use compared to ayato’s simplicity
Black sword buffs charge attacks, but Benny's CA has higher scaling (lol). Still an ok pick because free crit rate. And Harbinger being so high is why I keep 5 copies of every 3* weapon
Yea but can Benny's CA proc spread as well? Though unfortunately BS won't buff the spread dmg so that's rough
23:00 Bless your editor for this "go to Narnia" clip.
I think Mihoyo wished they went this way making elements and their reaction strong instead of creating specific broken early unit (Bennett, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Fischl....)
Imagine if vape was like this?

They need to reduce his ult cost to 40 or else we can’t ult each rotation. And no ult means no mirror stacks and no damage. Sad.
if you play him on field and you have yao yao or nahida there is no problem about er but I agree maybe 60 energy cost is better thant 70
You can just stop throwing those er rolls in artifacts beacuse "they are copium no cv"
Onfielders are very rarely short on energy. And since you should be running him with dendro resonance the energy issue is non existent. 40 energy cost is too low for the amount of dmg output it provides. That’s not how balancing works

Can you let us know about Yao yao's synergy with Al haitham if you can? especially in terms of energy requirements or other support features because we who will pull for al haitham will most likely end up pulling Yao yao as well, so it'd be nice to know if she's worth building in comparison to other support options
Unless you really want to play offensive electro chars like Fischl or Yae with him,
Kuki is just really nice to cover healing + electro application for quicken.
And then you can have a 2nd dendro (Nahida/dmc) and a hydro (yelan/xq) for quickbloom.
Yo can use Yao yao but put favonious polearm in her
Yao Tao is better than Kuki if build double Dendro double electro. Because Yae and Fischl is better sub dps in aggravate/spread.
Al-Haytham is not a quick swap unit, so going without healer/shielder is not an easy feat. But you could still argue that Zhongli might just be better than both Yaoyao and Kuki in that team

I will pull him because he looks hella neat and I already 36* abyss so I'm now an aesthetics lad.

Dendro is so powerful that I was able to guide my ar40 friend in clearing up to floor 9 of the abyss, the floor is that high
Happy birthday Zajef balls
Very good explanation, it's time to bust out that cursed umbrella, and put it some work.
The Black Sword does buff charged attacks too.
Yeah but not his skill, which is most of the damage
You thought you could be sneaky huh, Zajef?
But see those based music choices in the bottom right.
Alhaitham's weapon is really tempting me to pull on the weapon banner even though I don't plan on pulling alhaitham. I have no DPS swords on my account so the weapon would be a great stat stick for any one.
Go for it if u also want Xiao weapon
Wait for mistsplitter instead
Aside from being a good stat stick on the other characters, there are better options.
Also it's paired with a weapon that can be obtained from the permanent banner.
@@kamisama20 Yes that was a thought I had but since you can get Xiao weapon on the standard banner I am kind of reluctant. Also I could try to get Staff of homa, but I have Yelan bow already so that could be bad
@@ahamadsemiyan7760 No idea when Mistsplitter might be back on the banner, also Alhaitham's weapon should be great on any DPS sword user, kind of like how Redhorn is on Diluc, Noelle, Itto
While I don't know the full mechanics of Alhaitham's signature weapon, it sounds like it could be great on many other characters.
That means Alhaitham is great pick for me ;)
The day before Nahida banner I did the last few weapon banner pulls bc I'm an Ayato main with no 5* swords hoping to get Jade Cutter, got the obscure HP sword instead, so I went "sigh, I'll pull for Nilou then or it'll be useless, at least she'll be good with her sig" and spent my Nahida funds on her instead. She's been carrying me in the Abyss since, but every time a new chara comes out, I feel bullied by my lack of Nahida. She will most likely rerun in 3.6 with Baizhu, the character I want the most of all ever made and would like cons of, so I'll have to skip her until late Fontaine probs. Sadness and misery when you wanna play husbando > meta but want your husbandos to be good too.
Zajef sitting here, writing his entire thesis about Dendro in 29 min explaining that it is busted.
Meanwhile me, just sitting here waiting for Dehya, hoping she'll have a fun kit so I can do vaporize or Pyro-Swirl shenanigans 🔥
me, watching the video: hmm interesting yeah great points!
also me: *pulling as many cons of asshole smart man as I can with his signature weapon and then triple crowning him because husbando reasons*
I think Keqing looks pretty great both meta and aesthetic wise, and her new vision fits her really well I can't wait for that quest
💀
wait wat she got new quest new vision? LOL they are coming for you
Lmao this is nice and cute one
I can tell she's been working out 💪
Didn't know Keqing had coordinated attacks

Zajef: Harbinger is f*ing broken weapon...
Man! Kaeya really gave us a broken weapon in his character story quest.
Considering attack is still a good substat for him, that means Bennet is probably really good with him
Nah he completely messess up reactions in both quicken and bloom teams.
