Hey cory, if you’re imposter, there are lots of different actions you can do that crewmates can’t do which are INSANELY helpful in certain situations. Here’s a small guide from me, hope it’s helpful. SABOTAGES Lights: The lights are turned off and crewmate vision is reduced by a lot. To fix them, you have to go to electrical and flip switches until all of them are green. Oxygen depletion: There’s no oxygen for you to breathe, and 2 crewmates have to enter 5 numbers (the location of these numbers varies depending on the map) before the timer in the top left runs out, or else they lose. Reactor Meltdown: Same thing as oxygen, but 2 crewmates have to hold a button at the same time instead of putting in numbers Doors: Closing doors can be really helpful if you’re trying to isolate a crewmate. If a crewmate is on the other side of the door, they can’t see anything that happens there. VENTS when standing on top of a vent, you can go through them and hop out of another vent in a different room. Other people can see you get inside though, so be careful. if you already know this stuff I apologize lol
AMONG US TIPS: Playing among us is easy but you gotta be skilled to have a win streak so imma teach some tips for among us CREWMATE TIPS: When you play as a crewmate, always start with the tasks where you have to wait a bit (ex. Inspection task in medbay) so that you wouldn't have to wait if it's your last task. Be aware of your common tasks like turning the keys in polus and entering your admin code in Mira HQ. Remember, if you have it, everyone has it. If you don't have it, no one has it. So if you see a player trying to do these tasks but you don't have them, maybe it's the Imposter. If you see 2 people in a room, leave them alone then wait a bit If you come back to the room and see someone dead, you just might know who the Imposter is. IMPOSTER TIPS: Make sure that when you kill someone, you are alone. If you see someone coming back to your room, self report the body and try to blame it on a different person. You can use vents and holes to get away from your victims so no one would suspect you. But if you enter a vent your kill cooldown will not go down unless if your cooldown is already done. Only imposters can vent so make sure no one sees you vent. Stacked kills can be useful. Killing people who are in a crowd will make people confused on who is the killer but it's kinda risky though. Sabatoging can make the crewmates scatter and have a chance of killing them. Turning off the lights is personally the best one because while everyone is trying to fix the lights you can kill others who aren't helping or do another stacked kill. Also you can mess the lights up by turning the lights off whenever someone tries to turn it on again. MAPS: THE SKELD: The Skeld is the best map for crewmates. 4 Animation tasks so people will prove their innocence and narrow it down to the Imposters. MIRA HQ: Mira HQ is the most balanced for both crewmates and imposters. Narrow hallways for crewmates to stick together making the Imposter hard to kill without others noticing, and vents where the Imposter can go to large distances away from the person that they have killed. POLUS: Polus is the best for imposters. Big spaces and a large map will make this easy for imposters and vents are also helpful to use.
