Your arguments in all your "reviews" are mid for me. You don't have a point, they are just opinions of what you think it sounds like? Nothing based on music. But then I watch your other videos and it all makes sense. It's your mid style
1. I kinda feel you are biased towards some idols. Python is definitely not my song and feel outdated but calling Rose’s album amazing which sound is also outdated and feel like it could have been released in 2014, seems to me that your opinions lack support and good argumentation.
Remember guys, these are just 'unpopular opinions', just opinions. Please don't be angry in the comments, people like different things and that's okay. I say this as a kickflip fan.
I'm just out here having Python on repeat with most of my Ahgafamily 💚 Love it and the album.. Soo happy that the guys are back so we can have a family party 🔥🔥
I loved Python. You might not like the track, that's your opinion, and it's fine, but saying it's not sucessful, sis, you're just wrong. You clearly didn't do your homework.
1. I personally enjoyed Python. It kinda reminded me of Black Swan by BTS. The only thing that was disappointing about the song was that it felt missing after the second chorus. No bridge or dance break. Nothing. But overall, I liked it
"Not like the other girls" aah youtube video 😭😭 "let me make sure I don't fit in". Music taste is subjective but this is not it 😭 it just feels like u wanna stand out from the crowd so bad
Exactly. People make these type of videos for clout & then it starts a hate train for absolutely no reason. All songs that were mentioned in this video are good idk why ppl act like this lmao 😭
3: I actually like it! The whole dark, sexy, androgynous vibe really suits the group and it's got a cool concept and gives them an edge. Hyun is the one to watch, bro is already stealing the show with that main character-diva like energy. Wumuti, Rui, and Haru all bring something solid too, with Rui standing out for being unique from the start. The choreography is on point. It's fluid, clean, and impressive, especially from the boys. The song has got potential but, my negative for this is that, I wasn't really a fan of the chorus, but it's grown on me and it's quite catchy. I'd love it more if it wasn't exactly very repetitive or recycled. Even if it doesn't quite live up to the hype, it's a solid debut song imo. I’m curious to see where they go after this.
4: It wasn't what I expected at all because with a song title like that, I thought it’d be this big, fun pop banger, but it’s actually a smooth, mid-tempo R&B ballad. Their vocals are top-notch, and the production has this warm, timeless vibe that just works, even if it’s not super exciting. I like the little details, like the guitar/synth in the chorus, and how the verses switch up the rhythm. It’s not their best track, but it’s a nice change of pace that shows off their versatility. It’s the kind of song that could quietly grow on people over time if it was left on repeat
2: Okay, too me, it had glimpses of potential, like the pre-chorus guitar and the vocal interplay at the end, but the rest was the same old JYP blueprint we’ve heard quite a lot. The sing-talk-chant formula is stale, and it makes the song feel more like branding than actual music. I can’t tell what sets them apart from NEXZ or any other JYP boy group. If they really want to stand out, they need to ditch the safe, cookie-cutter approach and bring something fresh that actually uses their youthful energy.
GOT7's Python is 1000 times better than the loud k-pop music we are getting nowadays and also the album 'Winter Heptagon' is a masterpiece in which all members participated in writing songs and it has 9 songs. I recommend everyone to give a listen to it. You won't be disappointed!!!🙌🏻
@jasminirauch4322 GOT7 is not JYPE Group anymore. GOT7 owns GOT7 now. Leader Jayb acquired all the trademark rights to GOT7 back in 2021 when they had their first comeback 'NANANA' with the self-titled album 'GOT7' with 'Warner Music Korea'. This time they are having a comeback with 'Kakao Entertainment'. Every song in the 'Winter Heptagon' is made by members following with a group of a talented team. They are not some "recycled songs", those songs show different colours of members solo work. Even the leader Jayb said this album is a 'bibimbap album' meaning it has pop, r&b rock, ballad sounds.

ZB1’s new song was really good (it’s on repeat). I think it shows how good their vocals have gotten. So with Kickflip, I did come to like the song after a few listens. However, I do see the issues with the song, specifically when it comes to lyrics. They could’ve tighten them to really show off the playful/quirky nature that the group is trying to show. I can see their potential, their dancing is really smooth, and the members did have some standout moments. I hope that the group can find its core. Python was not what I was expecting, though I did like some of the other songs in the album.

I would add to playlist if it weren't for that jarring, clumsy chorus. It seems intentionally jarring and might be some people's cup of tea, but the lyrics are clumsy and awkward which to me says it might be jarring musically for no good reason which just makes it worse. Idk. I love the concept and look forward to more from XLOV. The visuals, vocals, and dancing are great.
I think (G)I-dle's Minnie's Her is the best, but Doctor Doctor would definitely be the best if it wasn't for gorillicky's voice setting the mood off, the rest of the song was amazing
Python was underwhelming to me, I wasn't fond of the beginning but when the pre-chorus started I was getting very excited, I was convinced it would have a lot of potential. Well, the chorus came on and damn, was it generic? Yes. And the 2nd rap verse was a big no for me, the lyrics were uninspired. I expected much better from them, it was their first comeback in almost 3 years. However I found Mama Said very entertaining, it sounds messy and confusing at first with the sudden beat changes but it's addictive, it gets stuck to your head. JYP is good at these types of songs.
1: GOT7 coming back together is always exciting for me, but Im sorry but "Python" just didn’t hit the mark for me. The slow pace and trap beats weren't for me and those English lyrics in the second verse was way too cliché and not very THEM. However, I will be nice and I'll give it credit for the standout synth parts, because they really added some life, but the song as a whole feels flat. It’s short, forgettable, and doesn’t live up to the amazing stuff they’ve done in the past. I know they’ve got way more in them than this

@@Yidiel-w6jRIGHTTT like all the songs on the album were hits for me. I didn’t vibe with umm great at first, but after multiple listens it’s definitely at the top for me
3: I’m sure many people will agree, but this track gives off major Taemin "GUILTY" vibes. It’s got that same dark, seductive energy and, it feels like if you combined Jimin, Taemin, Ten, and maybe Seonghwa into one group? There something about that mix that feels like it would just work?? I’m all in for their concept, though; it’s fresh and unique 🤌✨😍
meh all new debuts have been boring as heck, looking alike, sounding alike, nothing is actually new. just making people salivate over the same over and over again.
1. Python wasn't a top-notch, addictive song, sure. It wouldn't trend on the reel sections, sure. It's also not that unique, or different sounding. But it gives me Love Shot vibes. It's tamer than Love Shot, but borderline has that sexy background theme, and added to the lyrics, it sounds really good to me. I fond the lyrics pretty straightforward, which didn't land quite the impressive blow. There really were missed potentials in there at times and Jackson's rap part was.... meh. But at the same time, I liked the subtle story it told. Like a famous popstar on tour, meeting this equally magnetic girl. They fall into the sheets together, there is passion and everything. Then life happens, they let it happen. He is a world icon, she is an ambitious achiever. They have to kill that connection. But now, it's been weeks, months probably, and he can't move on. He doesn't know where she is, what she is doing, what is happening. All he knows is that never-ending longing and intoxication of missing her. The song COULD have been even better. Especially with a bridge cuz BRING BACK THE 3 MINUTES SONGS WTF. But I wouldn't call it mid purely because it was their first comeback in years, and it wasn't as bad as the other January comebacks lol.
Which ones are cringe? If you wanna talk about album names, sure. I can see it. Song titles tho? Can you give me an example so I can better understand?
7:51 all(h)ours is one of my ult groups but their songs haven’t been it for me. Only like two of their Bsides but they definitely have potential. I’m going to still wait until they release a song that vibes with me. 💕
oh yeah and lovely how all these greedy companies invest millions to train and promote repetitive kids, and forget about the actual super stars that invested their lives in the business, sending them to concerts without a budget, cause it was thrown out on some trainees that look and sound like every other idols math formula of the ad book.
2. "Mama Said" was fun and catchy, I don't have an issue with it. Just not my favorite. "Like a Monster" tho, is their best song. The vocalist really shine in that song, and I've been replaying it so much since yesterday. Please review all their songs when you get the chance, if you want. Would love to hear your feedback. I wish nothing but the best for kickflip, I'd love to see how they grow musically and evolve. Already so much potential. Especially from Donghyeon who has such a sweet vocal tone.
When you posted your community poll yesterday asking which release was our favorite, I gave them all a listen (including umm great)… then closed the app. Boy groups can’t keep dragging this cringey mess into 2025. It’s like they’re trapped in a time loop where this music really would’ve got the people going, and that was 2019. Enough.
I think this is why gg are doing so well. Maybe it’s bc the standard is set extremely high for them so we expect bangers from ggs. But honestly I feel like bg are all choreography and concept and not song as well. I do enjoy some bg like enhypen but yeah…
My opinions to the songs: Python: It`s okaaay and can be catchy I guess but after 3 years without a group comeback this was definitely not what i wanted to hear. And i don`t like how most of the lyrics are in english. For Jackson and BamBam it makes sense but for the rest of the members definitely not. Mama said: for a boygroup debut song it`s fine. It`s catchy. but I think umm great is more unique and would have been better as debut to stand out from the rest. I`mma be: For a boygroup debut song very interesting in my opinion. I`ll keep an eye on them. But I hope they`ll do the genderless concept thingy more justice in the future. I guess it could have done better.
I'd die on a hill for GOT7, I love them so much, but python wasn't my fave and it's not a song I'll be adding to my playlist, but I'm glad they are back!
Not to be party pooper but it feels like this new jyp group will not hit it at all. I don't feel any interesting aura from them. Nmixx, nexz, Xdinary heroes, kickflip.... jyp they lost the touch totally with those groups
1. Coz most of the members are foreigners, and unlike earlier now they dont have any label pressure.. so they just sang in english which most members are comfortable with
@@misskata8511 It is not a must. There are Korean phrases in the song 'Python' and in the album 'Winter Heptagon' they have Korean songs. Personally I find it sooo good that the majority of the song is in English.

Yes
Yes very much so
@@Sianlee264 I like the BND cb too but it was just a digital single
I think (G)I-dle's Minnie's Her is the best, but Doctor Doctor would definitely be the best if it wasn't for gorillicky's voice setting the mood off, the rest of the song was amazing
@GorillickyShen I think you are talking about yourself for being a gorilla
Ty for Doctor!Doctor! the vocals layering are perfectly overlapping and merge instead of fihgting to be heard!
&Team Deer Hunter?
Python was underwhelming to me, I wasn't fond of the beginning but when the pre-chorus started I was getting very excited, I was convinced it would have a lot of potential. Well, the chorus came on and damn, was it generic? Yes. And the 2nd rap verse was a big no for me, the lyrics were uninspired. I expected much better from them, it was their first comeback in almost 3 years.
However I found Mama Said very entertaining, it sounds messy and confusing at first with the sudden beat changes but it's addictive, it gets stuck to your head. JYP is good at these types of songs.
I cant get over the grp name "KICK FLIP"- and their debut song song being "MAMA SAID" ,makes me wheeze💀
your opinion is as egaul to shit spewing out your mouth you make sojang look like a saint
I know they’ve got way more in them than this
I prefer "Worm"
@@Kp0op--PLaGiaRiSm
And your built like one
@_JustArandomMultistan_ lol
Hey don't insult worms. Worms are good for your garden. Worms produce rich and fertilizer soil. It makes your veggies and fruits healthy.
@@Kp0op--PLaGiaRiSm
Fair point, worms are pretty useful, but I didn’t know they were this good at digging up comebacks. Still, I wouldn’t say they’ve got the best 'soil'-id argument.
@@Kp0op--PLaGiaRiSm
You'd be the type to keep worms, and snails in a box as a pet.
i personally loved imma be but i can see why the prechorus might be a bit jarring on the first few listens
question for anyone lol are xlov's members gender-neutral or smth like that or is it just their concept?
It's their concept. Even though tbh. quite a bit of male groups tend to lean into it at least with the fashion.
It's like taemin or onf... They have been doing sexy gender neutral concepts b4. If you like that. You will love xlov too.
hey sometimes we don’t need intelligent lyrics listen to “imma be” by black eye peas
Damn I was shocked at the XLOV review!!
I absolutely LOVE the song so much except I totally agree what u said about the talk-singing hook---
I respect your opinion though...
I love python you want all that over elaborate production
Probably OP would think I may have a distasteful taste for music because I liked Mama Said, I liked their whole mini album, and not just because I've been waiting for them, but well, I like songs with that vibe, and they don't sound noisy, at least to me
They literally ate so hard with the mini album. I personally think it’s one of the best debuts and all the songs are non skips for me.
SAME I LOVED Mama said and the album is one of my fav debut albums I've heard I'm not a a huge fan of Umm Great but the others were great
@@Yidiel-w6jRIGHTTT like all the songs on the album were hits for me. I didn’t vibe with umm great at first, but after multiple listens it’s definitely at the top for me
@ I actually love it now I heard it a couple more times and it's up there for sure😊
just say you have bad taste and go
3: I’m sure many people will agree, but this track gives off major Taemin "GUILTY" vibes.
Can someone tell me what the F is a "kick-flip"? Do you kick, then you front flip? Or do you back flip, then you kick?
google is free
its a skateboard move
@mimbomiv but it's more fun hearing from K-pop stan..
@@rinku_yay
Oh...
Its Kicking and flipping your ahh to the milky way and back
Why are K-pop song's titles so cringe?
It’s always been the case, you just get use to it. (They’re trying to be playful, the companies that is)
Which ones are cringe? If you wanna talk about album names, sure. I can see it. Song titles tho? Can you give me an example so I can better understand?
@@Ryororo the rizzness, Clik clak, Banana Allergy Monkey, Doom doom chit, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, Chitty Chitty Bang, pajama party, touch my body, oppa oppa and many more
Lol, I guess you don't have a clue about western song titles? It's not just K-pop song titles lmao
@@Gojo_ki_pooookie thank you, I get it now.
5.no the problem is that not everything that glitters turn out to be gold like it would look like jyp is helping but may e they're not js mo
4. MOOTHEW absolutely ATE that rap. Its gotta be the best part of the song✋🏻
Moothew no please 😭
@GorillickyShen i had the same reaction when i saw that username of yours😭✋🏻
And it is one of the few 5th gen maknaes that are actually a singer, probably main singer, and not a rapper
may I know who are the other maknaes like that?@@yakuilts
in the 5th gen? I don't remember, but I can look it up if you want @mjeeriw
oh no, it's okay!@@yakuilts
When you posted your community poll yesterday asking which release was our favorite, I gave them all a listen (including umm great)… then closed the app. Boy groups can’t keep dragging this cringey mess into 2025. It’s like they’re trapped in a time loop where this music really would’ve got the people going, and that was 2019. Enough.
I think this is why gg are doing so well. Maybe it’s bc the standard is set extremely high for them so we expect bangers from ggs. But honestly I feel like bg are all choreography and concept and not song as well. I do enjoy some bg like enhypen but yeah…
That's because boy groups are more about the dances and the visual.
Boygroups, especially the newer gen ones dont seem distinct to me music wise.
@@Gojo-ki-pOOkie-ig
Hey, who's that on your pfp? That's not you, isn't it?
not boynextdoor though
My opinions to the songs:
Python: It`s okaaay and can be catchy I guess but after 3 years without a group comeback this was definitely not what i wanted to hear.
We can clearly see u just want views so u be saying anything
I'd die on a hill for GOT7, I love them so much, but python wasn't my fave and it's not a song I'll be adding to my playlist, but I'm glad they are back!
Ok but Imo Python and MINNIE's album saved the 2025 January kpop😩✋🏻

Bro xlov song i m be is so good freaking good

Can you review Oneus IKUK?
I think it was reviewed in the previous video or the one before
Hi😊
1. I like the song but why it's mostly in english...
4. As someone who doesn't listen to boy groups (except 2-3) I liked it.
1. Coz most of the members are foreigners, and unlike earlier now they dont have any label pressure.. so they just sang in english which most members are comfortable with
@@safz15 but they are still a KPOP group ... shouldn't they sing in KOREAN mostly?!
@@misskata8511 It is not a must. There are Korean phrases in the song 'Python' and in the album 'Winter Heptagon' they have Korean songs. Personally I find it sooo good that the majority of the song is in English.
@seharaalwis3199 way too westernized
