First some emotional blabla:
I finally found some time to make a new GMV (Game Music Video). It’s not easy to find time to edit and get inspiration when your mother is sick and you don't know if she will be healthy ever again. Thats why I want to say sorry to all my subscribers that I did not find any time to upload videos the passed months.
The good news are that exactly one months ago my mother was able to defeat cancer and got fully cured from it. Thats why I am very thankful. This also gave me all the power I needed to create another project. This time I am back! Happy, more motivated, greater and more professional than ever!

Facts:
All of the clips filmed and used were HUDless, without subtitles, recorded by myself and Artiom. This is probably one of the highest quality Sonic related GMV you will be able to find on UA-cam and the internet. I also always try to build a bit of a story with my videos. This time I even tried to create some „Cutscenes“ to give the video more impact. I am also aware of that the footage i used isn't 4K but i upscaled it to higher the bitrate on UA-cam.

RealSonicVideos Well, yeah it does fit better to Metal Sonic for obvious reasons. So yeah, I guess Artiom had to say this instead of me. I stole his spotlight lol
And of course this comes out from motivation, but it's also a result of professional practice overall! Need to keep up a lot after this :P

Enjoyed every second of it! Stellar work there, my friend! Some incredible masking or whatever you did to separate characters from the original backgrounds). Loved most of the transitions! The song's lyrics are very fitting and you did a great job putting the scenes to match them. After watching the vid I'm kinda wanting to make another Sonic GMV myself. :D
P.S. I too am happy that things have got much better regarding your mom's health and your own as well. :)

Btw not so sure about the community part though... I wish i would inspire them. The community is very split and lost into frustration because every new Sonicgame dissapoints someone somewhere. Recently there is always something that disappoints me for example. I am starting to understand how the classic fans felt when SEGA turned Sonic into 3D. I am just used to a different Sonic "style". I grew up with action, a more serious, story-based and "cool" Sonic. I just try to use my videos to express my opinions and try to give hints on how something could have worked better when done different. Often that's something people don't like. They feel offended when you express your opinion directly. That's why i try to keep it sneaky in my videos. my hope is that people who are clever enough will notice it and maybe agree. Or if they don't start a discussion ^^
Yeah, I understand what you mean about the community, lately the sonic games have been.. well, trash, utter trash, at least in my opinion. Honestly I thought Forces would be a good game because they hyped it up so much, but when the game was released it was nothing but disappoint (well there are some good parts to the game) I grew up playing games like Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Colors, Sonic Unleashed, etc those games were the best. Nowadays it’s just, eh.. short levels, crappy characters, bad stories, you know what I mean? Like come on why didn’t they bring super sonic into Sonic Forces?
And haha I see what you did to your edit, I wish SEGA could come up with some cool ideas like you did with your project, I really love the mask in the beginning and that super sonic mask in the end, it was a great and unique idea 👌
Yeah nowadays people in the editing community become highly defensive and do not want to listen to anybody’s opinion. It’s pretty pathetic actually. If I were to give criticism/feedback people would all tell me to shut up and hate me just for giving a critique and trying to help them improve.
Well, again, you’ve made one of the best GMVs out there and I’m proud that you’re back.

Oh I didnt know that. Did you mask him recently? Well the difference could be that i rotoscope instead of masking. It makes it faster and higher quality. It took me 1 hour to make the roto. And i also like to combine keys with my rotos when its possible.
I did my mask about a month ago with a similar idea as yours (Having super sonic facing infinite) in this video ua-cam.com/video/cCTRR2mBgAQ/v-deo.html
yours looks way better executed than mine! I don't know how much of a difference rotoscope can make compared to masking (since I don't know what that is), I assume you probably used AE for roto?
Oh i see nice to see that I am not the only one who missed a final fight against infinite as supersonic. Well since I am a compositor I usually do my bigger Rotos in Nuke or Mocha.
