I tried a few services and have stuck with Every Plate. I cook those meals when just my 4 sons home and I'm cooking for them. They love them, it is plenty for 4 boys who can eat a lot, and I definitely have saved compared to what I usually spend.

I know this is a few months old review but you completely sold me, price is great and the meals look really delicious compared to other meal subscription services which are also way to expensive!

Wonderful review, I have just gotten my second box also. I also paid full regular price except I caught a nice special 10 dollars off basically no shipping... I have never gotten any other boxes like this, we have a bigger family and I just don't like the waste. Been over some ones home and had a hello fresh meal that was very good and it got me looking for something cheaper but still convenient for thoes days we are rushed or in a meal rut.... Both of my boxes have had product say hello fresh on them...so I guess they are the same parent company. Either way, not something my family will do all the time but I think the service is great.

I'm assuming if I signed up for the 4 serving 5 meal plan...... That the portions would be double what your cooking?
Correct. So if you used the 4 serving plan it would be like you are cooking for 4 people each meal instead of 2. So it should be double each time.
People either complain that there is too much packaging or that everything is packed together and not seperated for them. It's either one way or another. Not applying this to you just an observation I've made in watching these food box reviews

Would you recommend this for a 46 yr old bachelor who has never had to cook for himself? And is it something a guy who has been doing roofing all day with a 3 to 4 hour drive to job site and return trip same time can do quick or pre ahead of time.
I know this is late, but I noticed nobody responded to you. As a subscriber to EveryPlate myself I can answer your questions. The instructions are straight forward and someone who has never cooked before would most likely be able to manage. You can’t prep much ahead of time, except for maybe cutting vegetables for some meals. You can select your meals though and choose ones with lower cooking times. The times range from 30 minutes to an hour to cook each meal. You can choose the 30 minute meals if you would like them to be cooked quicker. Hope that helps!

If you put a piece of damp paper towel under your board you wont have any slip sliding across the counter . Back to timelapse. ...

I just started every plate and I'm currently waiting on my first box. Any advice or tips on this program or prepping would be awesome!!
Just make sure you keep up with picking your meals or pausing if you need to!! I’ve gotten a few rando boxes from not choosing in time 😂 the prep on it is well laid out and shouldn’t be hard! Easy clear instructions!

Yes we are! I just cooked a steak meal the other night and it was delicious!

@@tamarunitamaruni4724 oh awesome!! I got mine for $2.49 a plate to start for the first 3 boxes so I selected the 4 meal plan and am paying $28 for the first 3 boxes then $48 thereafter.
I love the video but can you do one thing is to wash the meat before cooking it please
Not needed at all.
I'm biracial so I've experienced my black family washing meat and my white family not washing meat. The DECIDING factor me was learning that the CDC does not recommend washing meat as washing spreads dangerous bacteria such as salmonella.
U must be black and/ or Caribbean. I wash my meat too ❤
I use to wash my meat until I was told by someone that it wasn't necessary. I haven't doing that for over decade. I use to because I grew up seeing that and yes, I am African American.
