How do you deal with the wildly inconsistent shop mechanics in this game? I've been playing for a couple of weeks now. I have Ronan and Chana at level 10. Enoch is the only character I've saved up enough gems for before the price went up. I currently have him at level 6. But whichever character I play with, the one problem I consistently have is that the shop is often stingy with certain items. Sometimes I'll go an entire run without seeing a single instance of a certain item in the shop. I've even tried taking the advice to try cursed clovers (because it's usually early-game items that soon disappear before a sufficient number have spawned). I've gone entire runs without seeing a single ice wand when playing as Chana or a single stick or cat or bucket while playing as Enoch. It's just insane how wildly inconsistent the shop is between runs. I've had a few runs where I lost at least the first 4 matches if not all of the matches simply because the shop wouldn't give me anything viable. It's just so frustrating! This game is actually really fun when the shop gives a decent selection of items, but what can you do when the shop just gives you a bunch of storage or accessories but no weapons, on one hand, or a lot of nice stuff but no bags so you just have to dump your purchases into the storage bin, lose the match, and hope that bags appear in the shop afterward, on the other? I mean the only other alternative, when the shop is behaving like this, is to just keep re-rolling the shop but then be out of gold when something viable finally comes up. It's just too inconsistent. Clearly you've been playing this a while. Is this a longstanding issue, or is this something recent with the shop's behavior?
Hello.. Thank you for sharing.. I'm not an expert on this game but here's some advice I could give for your problem.. 1.).. Adapt - If you're trying to build a weapon but can't seem to find the necessary item to build that, what you you can do is to build a temporary weapon that will let you win the first few rounds until you find the item you're looking for.. If you really can't find the item you're looking for try building a different one.. 2.) Cursed and Gold Clovers - They do help but still you need luck.. If the item you're looking for is lower tier - build cursed clover and if it's higher - build gold.. Tip: before rerolling remove the clovers that you don't need.. Ex. You have cursed clovers but you need higher tiers - remove the cursed clover from the bag 1st before rerolling then bring them back after.. 3.). Banish - If you're looking for a specific item look at it's item tier if it's legendary, then banish legendary items that you don't need..
