I have never seen pink salt or himalyan salt in europe saying that it is from india. It always says punjab pakistan But on rice iam sorry to say our own people put indian flag on them. Example chaudary rice mills sells kaspian basmati in europe with indian flag But on the bottom its written from the plains of punjab region pakistan Even the pakistani resturant sell indian menu. I have to go to afghan resturant to eat pakistani food sadly

How environmentally friendly is mined salt vs sea pan collection. I have both at home - pink Himalayan rock salt and English Maldon sea salt.
I'm not sure actually but good question. I think the mining itself is Ok but perhaps the food miles involved in exporting isn't great.
Ocean are polluted so as the sea salt
To get pure salt from is getting harder and harder due to micro plastics. Sea salt is just sodium chloride while pink is made up of 60+ elements
