There were atrocities on both sides, but I always thought there was something unhinged about Stone.

I absolutely understand. As a outsider. I live in England. I've never had to live with such fear. With constant bombings, everyday news of shootings and murders. I don't see much difference between IRA, UVF, SPECIAL BRANCH. Everyone did unspeakable things. Until the pain stops being past on to, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. There will never be peace. As unpopular as it may sound. Maybe it's time to stop passing the pain and suffering on. Give the kids of today a chance. The War is over.

That's just your bias showing all sides are a complete joke, the communities need to stop being so secluded from the other more integration

@@CoffeeCartel666hi there,I took part in a cross community barrier through artwork while in prison in the republic of Ireland.
This was organized by Dominic mcglinchy sister and Terry Weight who was held hostage in Lebanon.
      This was 1997.
While the Peace process was in the making., wouldn't be great if there was more things like that happen between the two community and we can stop calling it two communitys and be as one some day

I agree and disagree with the points made there, i was only 14 when it was signed and brought up on the unionist side. I believe the main reason the yes vote won was primarily because people had enough, despite all the other problems in the agreement. Those problems of course are still there and also the 1998 agreement in my view was very like that of 1921. The root causes of conflict are still there.

This is a hard watch for me. That poor woman talking about her son killed by Micheal Stone in the grave yard. Just reminds me of my granny when our Hugh was taken 😞

It is always a fact that the victims of violence are the ones who have to pay the price so that we can live our lives in peace and normality. It must be hard for them to take but it was the same in South Africa.
