you're making no sense, though. Lottie is the one who wasn't honest about how much she liked him. Lottie wanted to be exclusive but she was dishonest about it. Adam was honest with Lottie about dating other people, so where's the dishonesty? They also know they're not each others types. If anything he's super confident because women don't seem to refuse him anything.
