Sailed/ lived on a C 30 for 3 yrs.... Forced off by cancer 12yr ago... SOPPING for my new one. I was sooo happy on that little sweetheart. Sailing her home for the 1st time...Nov. 2010 ...time and money forced my hand to sail out of Glouster when forecast switched from 19 to fifteen to 25 to 30 in the AM.... 8hrs to Cape Cod Canal .... Foam flying off waves well over our heads. Half the 150 out..no reef. Yanmar chugging... i swear i sa 12kts surfing down those big swells ... Wind was Westerly. just afore the beam... Thank god. .... My point? Friggin C 30s a great little boat. ❤ Trust it.
Nice Garhauer traveller..... Question: I note that you have you Genoa sheet running through a block on the cabin-mounted INBOARD track (as opposed to the outboard toe rail track.) I was always under the impression that the inboard track was for when using a a small jib...(?). Does running it that way pull the Genoa inboard like a barber-haul for better pointing?????
A beautiful big sailboat pushing through the water heeled over like that, one reef in, just magical. Awesome video, thank you:)

Beautiful. I will think about this when sanding bottom paint.
Sorry about the line it slipped. Didn’t slow me down. 👍
Very nice video angle. One I don't seem to see very much on sailing videos. I could have watched it for a little while longer. thank you.
Great video. Good luck on the tack. The port sheet is dragging in the water.
Looks like the Delta out by Pittsburg. Pretty sure I saw the Antioch bridge in the background!
It looked like 9 KNOTS 👍🏼
lubberly to be trailing that line

Yes I can point a lot higher. This is a smaller jib. About a 90%
I have a 1984 C30 Standard rig. Hull no 3441...
