They taught the 5Ws and 1H in journalism school back in my day. None of those fundamental principles of journalism involve guessing future events, which seems to be very popular in the media today. I’m not sure if they still teach the 5Ws and 1H to journalists now.
No external military action will change the Iranian regime. That has to come from the Iranian people. They deposed the Shah because they were unhappy with his rule and he was a thousand times better than the Ayatollah. They need to depose the Ayatollah and his regime if they ever want a better life for themselves and their children. This will also have the added benefit of ending most of the wars in the middle east (Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, for example).
I agree, fanatical theocracy needs to be ended for the people of the middle east to have a better chance at life. The main problem is all of the people inculcated into fanatical beliefs for 4 generations will be resistant. It might be futile to hope but what else can people outside of the situation do?

I’ve been an Israel critic for majority of my life, mostly not out of understanding geopolitics and history, but because it was the hip thing to do.
