Thanks for a really useful walkthrough! Regarding timezones, is it possible for you as a VA to work with clients in very different timezones? How do you manage calendars if there's end moment cancellations or emergencies? I've always wondered about this because I may be unavailable at that time due to the time difference.
On working with clients with different timezones, I recommend using Calendly for easy booking between different people, and for cancellations or emergencies as the VA it would be easy to reschedule with Calendly as well.
Hi, Ma'am! I just have an honest question, it would be VERY HELPFUL for you if you answered it. So, what would you recommend? I'm only a beginner VA and I don't know where to use Google Calendar and Notion. I mean, I get it like Google Calendar is for scheduling client meetings, appointments, deadlines, etc. But, how could I utilize more of the Notion when I am already in use of Gcalendar? I mean, I used Notion such as for databases, documents, and such, but, how to use and what to use between these two apps?
Calendar for me is for managing meetings and schedules and I rarely use it for tasks and arranging assets and documentation which is what I use Notion for. So I'll have "Work on project X" on my Calendar that's linked to the Notion page of that project I want to work on.
Hey Le-an, i have a question. If I'm to manage a clients calendar on google calendar or any other app, would i need to log in with their email? I know it sounds dumb but I'm genuinely confused. Thanks, love your vids❤❤
Not dumb at all! Either tool can give other people access to their calendar, just by your own email
@@leanlailacaba ohh, thanks Le-an
How to open scheduler?
Heard something. Check out 8:31 to 8:34 😮
Please, where can I find the emoji and add it when creating a calendar event?
She used an extension called JoyPixels.
Yes! It's still the one I use
How would I add this skill to my portfolio?
You can show your process on how you can manage a calendar, like an SOP or template :)
Thank you!
I'm actually starting out my journey on virtual assistant job.
I would like to ask please, how do I connect my calendar with the client's own?
Or let me ask this way...
Will the client give me access to their calendar?
How will I get them to see my scheduling?
Is there a kind of integration?
Thank you
Normally part of the process is the client will give you access to their calendar. Once you have access, you're able to add/move/remove events on their calendar. Depending on the tool, you don't need integrations for it
You move a bit too fast. Also, kindly get a pointer it hard tracing following the mouse on the screen when clicking and pointing to deatils
Thanks for the feedback! :)
