For sure! Love that they come off as “organic”. Lots of others just feel... I dunno... disingenuous.

Your place is looking fabulous and I have noticed you have become so much more confident with your projects and comfortable with being on camera - great work!

I still feel weird talking to a camera. The only thing that makes it worth it is knowing a few people are enjoying things here too.

Wow! You did an awesome job!! I suggest you secure the water and feed trough to the fence. Your idea of the pig shelter was amazing!!

God job with the fencing and the little pig house. Water barrel and feeder looks great also. I think you have done a marvelous amount of building on your infrastructure....I'm sure it feels like a money pit as you add each part but since you are wise about screwing things together instead of nailing, you have the re use option down the line without too much work. Have a Blessed day. I'm glad your video came up. First it was up then it was gone then it was back. Crazy.

Thank you! Honestly the hardest part is balancing work and the homestead. It was easier before her diagnosis since she was a BIG help but now her batteries are on low, so to speak. The kids do help some but its not the same obviously. Little by little is all we can do.

Place is looking good. Amazing what you have gotten done already. Nice layout on the new pen. I like that you consider not only functionality but the looks of things when done. My brother in law used to call that fashion vs function. No reason a project can't have both.

I completely agree and that was a big thing for my wife. We noticed that many people that have farms tend to have things in disarray. I get how the farm can kind of take over life at times BUT... at the end of the day, its still my home and we want things to look decent. Thanks for watching! Im still new and get blown away that even one person watches!

@@HiddenCreekHomestead You're fun to watch and I am sure it helps others who are new to this lifestyle relate to the whys and wherefores. You always give the reason why you chose a certain way to do something. Thanks for sharing.

Have a look at Evan and Rebecca’s website or speak to him as they did a really good breakdown of how much feed they used last season and the one before. For their sets of pigs. Found your channel via Evans recommend a few months ago. Glad to hear your wife is doing ok. Look forward to the next video.

I did see that one. Its tough because the info varies so much. I also “assume” it varies greatly depending upon WHAT you feed them.🤷🏻‍♂️. I believe they’re calculated feed is based on a mostly soy based feed whereas we wont be using any soy. They figured about 1900lbs, we figured about 1300 BUT our pigs are also a bit further along than their when they got them so maybe its about the same. Its all so interesting. Thanks so much for watching!
