An absolutely lovely treatment of a tune by Jo's old pal Matt Dennis; the singer and composer had been pals as young musical artists in southern California, and when Jo, with the Pied Pipers, joined the Tommy Dorsey orchestra, she recommended Matt to her boss -- which resulted in the Dennis-Tom Adair team becoming essentially staff writers for the band, producing such memorable songs as "Everything Happens To Me," "The Night We Called It A Day," "Violets For Your Furs," "Let's Get Away From It All," "Little Man With A Candy Cigar," and "Will You Still Be Mine" -- all delivered memorably by the Dorsey vocal department. ...
