I've read all his books!...a real fabulous journalist...Into the Heart of Darkness is my favorite....terrific study of ANC vs. SADF , CCB , and Vlakplass operations pre and post Apartheid....should be required reading for studying the history of contemporary South African politics and warfare.

Sadly just like watching carter blanche all is said and nothing gets done .one big joke like telling a criminal there will be no consequences and expect them to stop

Is this book covering apartheid government, or only postaparrheid government? I have to go through the book, but I suspect this is to take black folks self esteem down. Be careful...
And if you dont have the energy to do research yourself, ill enlighten you. During apartheid he was deemed as a communist. Fighting for equality. His family distanced themselves from him. Quite a sacrifice dont you think?
