Not by german standards, it had deep potholes and rutting. The road serves as a feeder road for the next highway, the Autobahn 31. Additionally the Meyer Werft, one of the mayor german shipyards, has its headquarters on this road. So it it important, to keep this road in a good condition.

If you have never been to Germany, you cannot understand the quality of their highway system. Even city roads are kept in excellent condition. The Autobahn system is second to none. It's like driving on a sheet of glass, and when a section gets bad, it's replaced as soon as possible.
