that retaliation on cyan after his attack was one of your greatest moves in FFA Ive seen out of 100s of games, 6 snipers 2 chinooks and about 6 vees just pure complete devastation, half his base GONE and economy ruined + his attack defended, insane man! he was SHOOK LOL
The instant retaliation towards Cyan with snipers and spam of support powers and rocket launchers was fucking awesome.
Experience displayed in a true event.

Yeah Domi I think this match here gives a pretty objective case for removal of the Particle Cannon from SWG in these so-called "Pro Rules." Very interesting to watch it play out in full. I think the EMPs are clearly a significant enough advantage here for SWG making assaults on bases a real project for opponents.
It would have been very interesting to see this match play out assuming no particle cannon usage. I wonder if Pendulum would be willing to simulate that with you, even if it is staged. Seems like it would have been a much more balanced (certainly much longer) fight to the end in this case, tied more to micro/macro strategy around the EMP defenses rather than button-push Particle Cannon deletions. The Strategy Center deletions just kills any advance instantly. Not sure how else anyone could reasonably push through that. GG to everyone.

also the mistake here was you didnt go crusaders avengers and pathfinders, he was spamming towvees with tomahawks and avenger you would have beaten his composition EASY.

Hello Domi! I see you’re trying different challenges in Defcon FFA Videos, how about you try and win a match only using general promotion points on the worst upgrades like ranger drop, stealth fighters, frenzy, emergency repair, marauders and so on. I would love to see some bunker buster action 😆😉🤣

I think breaking through the front of the base would have worked better vs orange. Going through the side is a tighter choke point with such a large army against the emps. Also think you're right about orange composition being strong and think a few more tomahawks could have done well for you in that game, maybe even using tomahawks to pick off a few emps from distance

Airforce, SW, camo and toxin are definitely ahead of other generals with pro rules.
Pretty much every player with USA uses humvees and Avengers, so there are really no downsides for the SW general.
swg vs tox though. Swg is better in the late game. That's well known.

The particle caused more dmg in your head, than to your army. You should lose with dignity and not complain too much about pro rules. SWG vees are over 20 % more expansive than yours! You said it yourself, you should have expanded to the bottom right. Spreading out your base greatly reduces the effectiveness of the particle. Also most of the battle, you only build vees, no ambulances or avengers. His tomahawks really hurt you a lot. Overall it was a great match. You both rushed someone and you both killed then another player. And in the end you two fought it out. gg wp!

But honestly particle is unfair for swg. EMPs are enough to compensate for more expensive vees imo.
Particle and EMPs is not so fair. 1-2 emps stops a whole attack until reinforcements arrive. Particle can kill 2 oils plus loads of drop zones every 4 mins. Worth the 20% more expensive vees. Tank should get a nuke or maybe nobody at all gets any SW.
If emp compensates for expensive vees, why not just everyone gets a SW and play the game as originally intended?
The imbalance is really only in your head! Even if there is an imbalance it was not the reason for your loss. You already hinted your failure in the retrospective. In big macro games particle and emp don't matter (that much).
Also headbutting defense is not the usual way to go, facing too many noobs in that regard seems to make you overconfident about it. You even knew vabanque is not the proper way with a well bunkered in SWG, but still went about it^^.
The right way to win this was to camp it out. Take the third island and prevent him from getting his. Overwhelm his army, dominate middle, thus reducing his freedom of movement and his ability to mass troops. The final step would have been to attack the defenses with lots ot tomahawk in multiple spots mixed in with local acts of destruction to slowly reduce his map control/money/army to nothing.
There are games with much money when I resign against a well bunkered in SWG too, but only when my own army is Tank, Laser or Stealth (No long range arcing projectiles). Once any USA is too rich, the main problem is not so much the emp defense, but the avengers blocking any missiles, thus preventing the destruction of said defense.

Yes, sw is an unfair advantage for sw general, This is why I never build it as sw general in pro rules unless there is another sw general using it against me.

if Domi had an airfield with a couple of Stealth fighters (instead of lvl2 A10 or something) he would eliminate those EMPs at entrances before attacking. Wouldn't that be a good tactic? I mean, Stealth fighters would have been godly vs Nuke Cannons as well...

You were getting unnecessarily hit by emp on right corner and you had no longer range army. There’s nothing unfair, just a gg from Orange
Agreed on those hits on the right, but I think it just further demonstrates how busted EMPs are for defense. That feature alone should be enough of a crutch for SWG. Adding in the free particle cannon every 4min is the really busted part of this that kills the balance. Once his strat keeps getting deleted by it, his assault just gets fully halted/tables turn by a button push. I think without the particle cannon it would have made for a much more interesting/ balanced matchup to see the outcome of.
U made 2 mistakes at the least, after cyan left you didn't send some dozers to right bottom to build some wf and dz (orange also didn't).. the second mistake is you didn't choose Paladin tanks which would destroy vees with ease and also with it's laser defense could make his tomahawks useless, but GG.
i felt bad for cyan hackers getting deleted like this , he was probly crying over it this why he didnt speak after

I think the answer was paladins but it was late in the game and using a general's promotion on them in any other scenario is a HUGE waste.
