Exactly my feelings! Ordinary people on the streets were much more judgemental. It's good to know there are still good and smart people trying to preserve and spread a peaceful and tolerant approach to their religion.

Also, note how almost every single man interviewed was chewing qat. Almost an entire country on drugs - that is the real shame, not a child not wearing a veil. Unfortunately everywhere in the world people, the media and politicians seem to focus their attention on what women wear instead of the real big issues, simply because they can not solve the real problems of their countries.

Unfortunately, Najmiya was not a girl who was interested in her studies. Her interest was focused on playing and wandering in the streets, and she behaved like a boy. If she had been interested and diligent, her father would not have opposed her completing her studies. Many veiled girls completed their studies, achieved their dreams, and became useful to society. The veil was never a reason for a woman to be late and not to obtain a degree. Whatever she dreams of, she only has to be diligent and concerned. Hijab is not the problem, but rather it is a protection for the woman and a preservation of her from harm.

  • @photosbyfranci

Najmia is a natural leader. God has appointed something special for her
life. She is brave and thinks for herself. She is sweet , funny, kind
and very smart. I would love it if someday she would led a revolution
and gather all of the women in the city to protest their treatment. I
believe this is her gift from God and I hope she will use it. Dear God
in Jesus name protect this beautiful child. I hope to see more follow-up
videos in the future. I was sad to hear her dad made her wear the
burka. She is a beautiful spirit and I hope she can get away from this
citation and help other women see the truth! She is a light shining in a
dark place. I hope she trys Jesus out too!

They love her cause she is good in communicating with the world. And she is a strong girl but the ppl surrounding her have evil eye on her. Even de man who was prasing her and kept his hand on her shoulder. His hand was on bad place. I really fear on what they would do to her. +RIna Roi If his intentions had been bad, he would never have placed his hand in the 'wrong place' (as you say it) when in front of others & especially not in front of the camera. He was actually oblivious to where he was keeping his hand. That means he actually considers her like a daughter. I just didn't get wrong vibes from him at all. I think the guy is genuine. And quite open minded for an Imam.

Malaka Dharmasiri we all whether Saudi or Yemeni women were and still are searing and torturing silently by the patriarchal laws, and if we protested against theses oppressive and biased laws , of course they immediately will strip every possible rays of hopes out our spirits . like the hope of completing your education or at least the hope of connecting with the others . recently many educated girls have organized a demonstration that aims at canceling the male guardianship in Saudi Arabia, but unfortunately most of them have been arrested by the clergymen as those women are trying to corrupt the women's minds according to the Islamic law . and now they casted them in prison for ever, just because they 'd demanded to have their basic rights and to practice the concept of freedom in their lives.

ISIS also does some bad advertisement for islam. Are they Jews too? I am so sick of seeing these hateful comments. To criticise any people based on their ethnicity or religion is simplistic and stupid. It is the same mechanisms at work; those who are prejudiced against muslims today, are the same who would support the nazi view on Jews, or any stigmatised people. Your attitude towards Jews springs thus from the same source of human weakness as hatred against muslims.

If men do not give rights to women then what is the fault of Islam. Islam gives rights and duties to both men and women. Islam is against the violation of women's rights. At the level of judiciary, society and individual it asks the person who violates the rights. But who listens to Islam today !?It's not about religion she is talking about overall Man if a system is curpt it doesn't mean that it's the fault of the religion.its like if you and I have a car it's up to us how to use it smash it in some one or in a wall or choose to drive safe it's doesn't mean that fault is in the car .Again it's a cultural thing not relate this to Islam . Islam is making ways for humanity it is working on many levels .it's spacturm is wast . I will Try to express a little bit . first of all it teaches us man and woman are Equal so it's working to get education for men and women at the same level .now it telling girl's father to give her shelter love respect and inheritance . We see it it again addressing men to lower thair gaze and respect women help them treat them well . Islam is trying it's best to make men do work and pay bills and provide women food and naseseties at home . Make them happy . If society or culture is educated and safe let women go out by them own .but if society and culture are difficult make a guard to to your women .not only women in the house but women that need help .it making police and jduge to not accept bribe and don't b currupt . Give justice to women and men and children and old people and transgenders and animals and birds and whatever that is victim .Islam is saying men paradise is in feet of mother means treat them well don't shout or disobey them only if they make you worship others accept Allah . Islam is aware of feelings and atrection so addressing women to cover and respect your body choose the one who deserv you . Islam is even giving the right to kill her rapist at spot or drag him in the jail .Islam is giving paradise who has daughters and bringing them up good . Islam supports those who take good care of orphans and destitute children ۔Islam tells mothers to train their children well because the mother's lap is the child's first school. When does Islam say treat women badly? These are the people who do not listen and do not act. Islam makes laws for both men and women. Islam knows the value of woman so Islam places its responsibility on woman's brother, father and husband in such a way that she becomes strong. Islam gives a woman the right to job or work if she wants to and whatever she earns she has the right to her and her husband's earnings but the husband has no right to his wife's earnings except for the money that the wife is happy Give it to your husband۔ Islam tells the husband that if a woman is pregnant he cannot divorce her during that time. Divorce or not, children's expenses and bread and alimony until they grow up and start earning, in any case, the man will bear, not the mother. Islam tells women that if a man oppresses you, do not be silent. You have the right to separate from that man.And this is about the time when girls were buried at birth in Arabia. Islam seems to give a woman a place where she becomes the crown of the head, not the shoe of the foot۔ Islam tells men to marry helpless women, give them food and love at home. Work for women's rights. If Islam tells a woman not to show off in the bazaar, then man is also commanded not to show off in the bazaar. Men and women are not allowed to provoke anyone's feelings without any reason. Don't bother another man's sister, mother and daughter. Save yourself for your wife. Islam tells men to be a shield for their women and other women without any discrimination of colour religion and creed if need be.Islam considers women honorable and valuable and says that the wealth and honor of others should also be safe with you. Daughters are equal to all and commands them to be treated gently. Islam says that the government of the time should give shelter to the helpless and poor women, take care of their needs, build darlamans and fear God in their matter. In the same way, islam tells husbands, fathers and brothers to fear God in the matter of their wives daughters sisters mothers ect and do not violate their rights.Islam emphasizes action. Determines the rights and duties of women and prescribes penalties for violating their rights. Men may not get as many rights as Islam gives to women. I think men should raise their voice for their rights.
As a Muslim women My father takes care of my needs and naseseties then husband provides, including separate house then will b my son's responsibility seems to take care of me . It is useful for me if It is hot and if I don't want to go out then I order my brother to bring it.islam Don't stop me if I want to go out on my own. Maybe if I have to change the tire of the car on the way, why should I get in trouble? Then if the brother is with me, he should fix it. Why should I get my hands dirty? It is his duty to listen to his sister . There are other rights too but I am tired of writing. Personaly speaking My brother wash the car and check when I want to go out and drive I feel this car maintains thing tiring and heavy so my brother take care of this . father give me more money to buy whatever daughter wants. I put on my hijab which I like and . Goodbye.
Ok my mood changed I don't want to go now for like no reason maybe I will send my brother to bring me pizza and some fresh fruits even if he is about to sleep . because it's 11:34 pm here .but he always listen to me.
