I realized that people who are working at beauty industry never showing their job. I mean, yes, we do know how possibly you got the job, what have you done etc. But we don’t know what are you doing during the day.. what exactly doing. In my opinion, every departmant worker should do this.. So I can decide what I want to be! (Without any regrets in future)

My girlfriend really is passionate about working in the beauty industry. Being from an HR background and in a country where beauty industry related jobs aren't that publicized as the others, she is finding it difficult to understand how to proceed. Knowing that you too had a psychology major gives me confidence that there is a path and it just needs to be found. I would definitely appreciate any sort of guidance that I can get so that she gets a job she's passionate about
Thanks so much for this video. Definitely want to do a video like this when I enter the beauty industry too. I’ve been trying to get into Sephora Hq or other brands nearby (I graduated in May) and it’s been hard!! It’s so competitive. Definitely networking has helped me but there always seems to be someone more qualified. Now considering working at some counter or at Sephora as you mentioned! Thank you so much for this!❤️❤️

So when would you say is the best time to apply for a job if you are about to graduate. I graduate in May and I’m wondering if it is too early to apply for these jobs. I’m worried that If I apply, I may get the job in like January or February and then I have to tell them I can’t work until May. Did you have this issue? And how did you navigate it?
This can be tricky. Since i applied for an organized program it had an official start date of September of the following year so I didnt have to worry. But i think if its an individual job that is posted right now they are looking for someone to start ASAP. I would wait until Spring like March!

Hey.. I just wanted to ask this Or rather i would say put this out of my mind... I am a pharmacy student.. And i was confused between masters in pharmacy (cosmeceuticals) but it has very less salary less no. Of universities and opportunity in my country...this includes formulating and preparing cosmetic from scratch..
But then one of my professor suggested me to do MBA marketing in cosmetic company.. I kinda liked that idea too... As I didn't have any fixed aim.. From very start of my degree but i am in my last year now...and it's getting So much anxious what should I pick now!?

I am looking forward to do masters in marketing... But as I have very least amount of knowledge in that field bcz it's so sudden I am changing my field of study in last 4 months of my degree..
So I am more of a confused person now..

aw. i am not the best person to ask since i dont know much about the pharmacy/formulating side. I will say that marketing jobs are very common (every brand has a marketing department!) so if that is your passion i am sure you will be able to find a career in marketing but i am not sure about salary details!

hi! it really depends, i was able to start at a different level than a coordinator but if you start as a coordinator the salary is usually 40-45k
