Please restock soon! This seems like it'll be the only way my grandma can use her "beloved blender" in her hospital room. It's too loud as is, and she's upset because making us and herself fun, creative smoothies is something she loves to do.

It's definitely sound engineered to achieve the maximum possible noise. Subconsciously people associate loud noise with power.

Yeah especially when you wake up hours earlier than anyone else and literally can't have a smoothie for breakfast because it's too loud

My cat is terrified of the noisy Nutri Ninja IQ. She looks at it with wide eyes and runs the heck out of the dining room.

What about airflow? Is it safe? and won’t mechanically shorten the lifespan of blender components?
Good question! The reason for the size of the unit is to provide ample volume of air to mitigate such issues. 60 seconds of operation with a 1000W nutribullet increases the internal air temperature by 3 degrees Celsius, or an average of 1.5 degrees. So no different to operating your blender on a day that is slightly warmer than the previous, i.e. the effect is negligible. However I do not recommend the Dome is used continuously such as in commercial situations, although most blenders do have a thermal cut off when they are used excessively which should help to protect the motor in such situations.
@@domeofsilence1143 I bought Vitamix E310 since my previous comment and I have to say even though its +100w power from my 900w bullet it sounds consistent and doesn't have a 'struggling' sound. I don't mind it at all. The bullet was straight up annoying I would cover my ears sometimes!

I’m also concerned about ventilation being an issue and shortening motor lifespan?!? Seing that the Hushpad works in vents at the bottom maybe it’s an important design not to discard!

Just going off product dimensions online, the Creami seems to be about 3 inches taller so I would think it's got to be at least near to too tall. Not sure how each is measured, however.

You can get something like a power strip to act as a switch or even use a smart plug and do it with your phone. I do wish we had outlets like these here in the states though then seem safer.

Don't worry if you're not sure, I know things have been complicated over the last few years, I just wanted to know whether this product still has plans on being produced. so if I insulate the unit from the bench with 1-2 cm of foam or rubber that should reduce the low frequencies resonating through the bench top yeah ?
If the main problem is vibrations on your benchtop, that will help, but it will do very little for overall sound reduction. The rubber feet on current blenders are usually sufficient, and in testing I found very little improvement adding additional dampening. But each case is different

Why not just hang a pair of noise canceling headphones near your machine? On and off in a snap, takes up less space, and no more ridiculous than your giant contraption 🤪
But it's got some pros and cons; This is clearly bad for the engine durability. Covering the blender for too long can cause overheating.
So a small trash can will do. 😅
