TikTok perfect goatee in one minute original with ending

- By special request. Trimming the full beard back to a long goatee fast with a funnel and shaver.
Apparently this video was good enough to get ripped off repeatedly on TikTok with the channel identifier carefully cropped out.
Last time I recorded this I did it with a black short and got requests to do it again with a lighter colour so the resulting goatee is actually visible.
To do this you'll need a 4" (100mm) funnel and a good beard trimmer that is freshly cleaned and oiled.

Only just noticed the different colours. _Tricolour Clive_ would've been a good channel name.
Goaties are easy to shape. It's the dreaded beard that always gets me. When I've tried to neaten mine I keep trying to get it symmetrical. Never getting it quite right until it's so low I end up shaving the whole thing off in frustration.
"By request"... and expecting it will go viral again. :D
Maybe a little bit of that.
If you use a longer oil change funnel, with the same diameter, you can trim the bottom of the funnel off and attach a vacuum hose.
The suction will draw in the longer hair, allow you to self center the funnel, trim, draw the longer hair out, and then use the vacuum to clean up the cut hair.

Clive, if you trim the funnel to make the hole a bit bigger, and stuff the beard through, you can pin the beard to have the funnel attached hands-free ))
All the years ago when I stumbled on this golden little channel I never thought I'd be learning grooming skills off it. Not exactly surprising tho. I always fear taking a chunk out when I go for the free had method. Since I grew facial hair I also grew a lack of a chin, or maybe just 3-5 new chins. It's been a few years since I shaved it all off, but the last time I did my girlfriend couldn't look at me without laughing for about a week since it had been years since she saw my face. Its god awefull weird when you see your face after it being hidden away for years.

Another tip: take the end of your goatee all the way through the funnel. Should be possible with a bit of a twisting motion. If not, then shorten the funnel a bit, so the hole will be bigger. Pull it tight with the funnel up on your face and secure it with a clothespin. You will have both hands free for shaving.

My mum questioned why my beard had gotten so wide today. Her exact words, "Are you growing a beard?". I've had a beard for 30 years. But suddenly it's too 'wide' and more grooming is required.
The real issue is that your full beard is at some stage of growth that reminds her of someone in her past that she does not like to think about. That's all it is.
I've had the same problem with appearance and my mother complaining about certain things that a mother normally wouldn't or even shouldn't be bothered with. Like whenever I grow out my hair, she says I should get a trim. Little does she know that I remember the one time she mentioned that I was starting to look like my father(whom she hates with a burning rage) and so even though it was only the one time, I know that anytime she brings up my appearance and suggests changing it, it is because of that fact..
I almost guarantee it is the same with you and your mother as well. Your beard reminds her of someone she does not like lololol...

That's probably what the Chinese back a few centuries ago to get that clean look. You know, the island on top with the pony tail thing. Someone in china said "HEY", we can use this hair cutting tool to pour liquids into our clay jars. The funnel was born!

The goatee: all the hassle of shaving every day, but with the advantage of looking like a movie villian.

Keeping the funnel in place may lead to a new design for face covers with regrowing filter material.
With a gasoline funnel instead of a kitchen funnel it should be possible to push the beard through for strapless installation.

So.......... I have been a Big Clive subscriber / fan fir a long long time.... Watching and learning all about electronic gadgets and such....... I guess if you get the funnel the right size you could tuck other things inside for a safe trim of any sensitive areas of the body.
I don't know why but when he took the funnel off and the beard came out in two pieces, it scared me.

I do not know where my heritage originated from, but i only grow a goatee. Nothing between it and my ears. And only a little under it on the neck. Terminal length is about 6 inches. I have not trimmed anything in years.
Everyone has a different growth pattern.

I don't know if that shaver is a standard, but I use one that looks almost identical, but with a different name, to trim my beard.
I don't like beards in general, but a useful tip if I change my mind some day.
