back in the 60s-70 i grew up on my dad's car lot. i had a 62 impala 2dht in 1973 a boy came in with a 65ss just as clean as that one but original, he wanted to sell it. it had a real hard shift, and everybody assumed it had a bad transmission. the car was gold, daddy told him he would give him $275, he wanted $500 i was foaming at the mouth! he lest and came back in a week and took the $275 daddy told me to sell my car and give him the 275 and it was mine! i could not find anybody in Walterboro SC to give me $275 for my car! in about a month daddy took the keys from me and sold the car for $500 bucks! i became a professional transmission man and years later realized what was wrong with the Chevelles power glide, it had no vacuum! the line pressure was high. oh those were the days,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
350 ci not original. Fender emblem shows 327 which was available in ‘65. The first car I looked at in ‘73 was ‘65 SS, 4 spd with 283. Should have bought it.
Unlike the '66 and newer cars , this was what they came with when new . Before anybody asks about the rearend , you had to order at least a 300horse V8 to get a 12 bolt .
65 should have 137 (SS 6-cylinder) 0r 138(SS V8 ) vin number . 66-68 only used the 138 with the exception of the 67-72 concourse wagons which had the 138 vin but never offered with the SS option .
Thank you Nick , for taking the time to settle down with the camera . A lot of people out there could use some lessons in cinematography .
Maple motors got the best , honest shop and showroom!

Do you take any trades?😮
Are some of the SS badging missing, or a clone?

Nice ride❤
Very nice car
Dude, is that thing fuel injected or does it run on a carburetor? That is dang quick starting for a 65 model. I am impressed.

Should specify not a real SS or not a numbers matching. The 327 is gone.
