Anyone who hasn't seen these 2 very talented sisters in concert is missing a great show. You should make it a point to go. They are Grammy winning, incredibly talented, and genuinely nice people. I look forward to everything they do.
I'm 72 years young and I grew up listening to Aretha, Janis and Tina. These girls are right up there. Found them about four or five years ago and instantly became a fan!! Y'all keep it up girls and keep carrying on that rock and roll tradition!!
Saw them open for Gary Clark Jr waaay back. Then at a small club. Then a large club. Then featured act with Allman Betts as opener. Next was winning Grammy last year. Keep up the good , solid work.
Ah, Larkin Poe! Always on my playlist! They are so... fabulous. Hey, this one is very very good. Even by Larkin Poe standards! The lyrics really touched me. When I finally listened to them, and not just to the music.
Please forgive the allusion, but, having seen Bonnie Raitt in concert in the 70s, it is impossible to hear such excellent vocals, and world-class slide playing, and not favorably compare. Thank you for the wonderful music.
Anyone else hear a Beatles/ELO influence on this one? I can already imagine a line of country acts lining up to cover this one - it'll translate well to that genre. Great song!!
You always impress. All the success in the world guys. Hey, if you actually read these comments I’d love to hear you cover “Nobody ever knows you when you’re down and out” I think the song deserves your version. I just feel like it would be the EC/DA version of our generation.
This song resonates with my soul. You two girls change my life for the better every day by making me feel seen with your incredible music. Thank you both for existing.
(When you’ve got love…) I’ve got all I need, it don’t get better than this. … more ain’t always more! Love this song (Cindy and I just had our 44th anniversary!)
Larkin Poe is absolutely my favorite band. I'm up to four of their CDs and will be buying this new one. Right now "Peach" is my favorite with its "old school" blues-type material.
Yeah, that's another one to look forward to on my playlist. Very nice laid back vibe, meaningful lyrics, excellent vocals and musicianship; just what I've come to expect from these two, and I haven't been disappointed.
This is different from Larkin Poe, call it maturity, or just growing into their own shoes. But this song is amazing, her vocals are absolutely on point. The tone of the song is absolutely on point. The riff is like a buzz saw through cotton candy. Larkin Poe is levelling up.
Not a country fan at all, but these two are brilliant musicians and deserve all the success in the world! Not The Warning, but not everybody can be The Warning! 🙂
Sucesso sempre, meninas!!!!!!!!!!❤❤💋💋❤❤
Already have their new album pre-ordered. I saw them last summer and it was fantastic to see other grizzled concert veterans actually shout out loud "You guys are Great!!!"
👏 👏 👏 huge Larkin Poe fan another fantastic song more ain't always more there new album Bloom imo I 🤔 they'll win another Grammy for there music is just awesome
Any day I get new LP I am so happy and man did I call it 6 yrs ago, Rebecca would sleeve up at least one arm. I am loving the progression/evolution. Cant wait for the May Atlanta meet and greet.
Absolutely love this. Truly brought tears to my eyes. Strangely reminded me of my late father who had small dreams, a wife, a family, a home. He was the happiest and most content man I have ever known. Thank you Rebeca and Megan. One of my favorite Larkin Poe songs.
There was a show on AXS, where Tyler (Rebecca's hubby) was interviewed at his (their) house. Seemed like just a regular mid century ranch house in Nashville. The music side reveled itself once inside the rooms converted for musical endeavors. From the outside, just a simple down to earth couple from Texas & Georgia.
Thanks, Megan and Rebecca! Outstanding video and lyrics! It's not every band that works so hard to make every new album better than the one before! I guess that without the corporate pressure to crank out albums, you get to take your time and keep the quality high! So far, you have 4 new hit songs, and I'm loving every one of them! Can't wait to see you in Seattle in April! 💙💙💙💙 Keep on Rockin! 🙌🙌🤩🤩💪💪🤟🤟❤🔥❤🔥
Ugh, I love you both, soooo much. Such a neat song and message you brought us, and well crafted (great job, all!). George Harrison vibes, or at least a tip to!
You ladies have it right... the top of a mountain of shit is not worth climbing... keep your dreams big and your hearts bigger... you both deserve the world take it from a little bit.... They will come true with such hearts😊
Anyone who hasn't seen these 2 very talented sisters in concert is missing a great show. You should make it a point to go. They are Grammy winning, incredibly talented, and genuinely nice people. I look forward to everything they do.
True words!
My bass player saw them here, unbeknownst to me!
He said they were phenomenal!
The essence of Americana. So simple, so beautiful. Thank you, sisters.
Finally something nice on the internet, thank you Larkin Poe 🎉

They admire Bonnie.
Sure they will like your comparison.
Not the first time I think of Bonnie when watching these two.
Megan and RebL not only admire Bonnie...their hope is to one day collaborate with her!!
Heard of "First Aid Kit"? 😉
Love that Megan and the slide steel are more forward in the mix on this, excellent sound!
Larkin Poe on the turntable........literally! Thanks for all your creativity.
That rotating view is giving me vertigo and is terribly irritating. Stop it… dammit. But I do have a love affair with Larkin Poe!
@@CementHead2175 I think the strobe lights at the end will set off a few people, made my head pause.
I love these girls. Their music is a gift from Providence.
Anyone else hear a Beatles/ELO influence on this one? I can already imagine a line of country acts lining up to cover this one - it'll translate well to that genre. Great song!!
Rebecca and Megan Lovell reminding us what's important in life! Love all the new songs so far and can't wait for the full album.
There is another sister (in Georgia?) And a talented blues hubby at home in Nashville. He (Tyler) was opener for them a few years ago.
Blooming beautiful ❤
soo pleased with this duo..best modern blues i can find.. cheers!
decades of life and harmony are behind the beauty of this song!
In my opinion that is no Rock, no Heavy Rock, no Hard Rock, no nothing...but a lovely song and i love it !!!
Thank you Larkin sistas!!! This is a supertop song indeed!!! Harrison slide sound and southern vibe... and lyrics ♥
The way it opens up at 3:26 gives me goosebumps😍See you on the 2025 tour guys! ❤
sestricky megan a rebeca,uz dokazali ze patria medzi svetovych hudobnych umelcov.ich skladby su fantasticky dobre.produkuju kvalitne songy.
This song has a classic Beatle vibe.
It's highly relatable and a timeless hit in my opinion. I'm understanding a Bloom theme in these songs. 💙💙
You always impress. All the success in the world guys. Hey, if you actually read these comments I’d love to hear you cover “Nobody ever knows you when you’re down and out” I think the song deserves your version. I just feel like it would be the EC/DA version of our generation.
The lyrics… I love it ❤️🔥❤️🔥😍❤️🔥❤️🔥
it's so Rebecca; yes, love it!

This is absolute perfection ladies!!!! I'm speechless

Loving it! Truer words were never more powerfully spoken or in this case song. Thank you, Mighty Poe.
Not a country fan at all, but these two are brilliant musicians and deserve all the success in the world! Not The Warning, but not everybody can be The Warning! 🙂

Absolutely love how simplistic their videos are. It's all about the music, no distracting imagery. Straight Poe, as it should be. 🙌💙💯
Best Beatles-Song Larkin Poe ever did.

Looking forward to see them life.
George Beatle guitar vibes🎸

A big hit to come for you nashville sisters on the country charts! So proud!
Nashville is a pop music factory. They have office cubicles full of writers. These sisters wouldn't fit in Nashville's production line system.
Wonderful song and performance ladies! Thanks once again. It is good to hear your views in the lyrics and the music.✨

Two of my most beautifully talented young ladies
Holy Ghost Fire! That was beautiful! Great chorus, those 7th chords, and melodies really hit home!
Once again, great song ladies! There's something very powerful about humility. God bless!
Major Allman Brothers in my ear. Sounds great!! Much love!
I didn't realize that until I read your comment! 💯% dead on the money
@lesheath6216 just a little bit 😉
Thanks, Megan and Rebecca! Outstanding video and lyrics!

Thank you for the memories, ladies. It truly was a blessing to see you at Artpark in Lewiston New York this year. You two ROCK!!!!❤️
That was a FANTASTIC show. Sat next to sound board on that one. Allman Betts was a perfect opener.
Ah! I prefer these songs where Rebecca sings without screaming. Great girls!

Just two ladies doing what they love.😊 I'm looking forward to January 24th! Greetings from Germany!
Love these sisters going to see them again in the uk next year.
Where, when? Are your dates out?
Go on their website and see the dates listed.
I fell in love from the first listen🖤
Gotta wait til April but, so excited to see them again!
Great song! I think it would fit nicely in a live set as a little break from their harder blues rock tracks
