I love how it's always so obvious how much Siyeon adores her members. Always looking at them with heart eyes, always playing along 🥰 My favorite in the chemistry series is Siyeon and Gahyeon, they're so sweet.

They really are bros! I feel like all of them, since the group as a whole can be very high-energy a lot of the time, really value having “quiet time” with Dami. She’s got a very calming presence, and I do feel like Siyeon’s a little bit more of an introvert than people would first assume from seeing her with Sua and JiU. She does the hand-pinching thing a lot, too! She’s very physically affectionate with the other members, but in a much different way than Sua. It’s very much a comfort thing for her, it seems like. And Dami actually can be very physically affectionate and cuddly too, she’s said that she just doesn’t really like skinship in public, cuz she’s a very private and modest person. She and Siyeon seem to understand each other’s needs really well on that front and it shows. They have wonderful chemistry 💛 I especially like how kind of equal the care-taking seems to be in their relationship, because for a lot of the others there’s more of a clear dynamic with the older member adopting more of a caretaking role. But since Dami’s such a natural caretaker anyway, being so observant and empathetic, she looks out for the older members just as much as they look out for her and it creates a different element of respect between them.

My biases! My wolf and my panda! Cute adorable. Siyeon is obvious in how she shows her affection to the members. Dami is more suddle. An ENTP- Extroverted Intuitive Thinking Perceiving in Siyeon and Dami’s INFJ- Introverted Introverted Feeling Judging. This group just always balance each other. Dami isn’t big on touch, so when she in initiates touch or allows it in the form of skin ship, hug ect it means she is comfortable with them. Handong, Siyeon, Jiu, all the members basically. Even endures SuA’s handsy nature. Singbin is adorable and one of the most calm pairs in the group when with each other.

SingBin is my favorite ship. Dami is Siyeon's OG baby so Siyeon really takes care of her. One thing about them is that they're really considerate with each other and anticipate the other's needs well. Now that you mention it, they do kind of remind me of brothers. 😂

What you said about Siyeon matching other's energy, I always thought that, too! Siyeon seems to show love by meeting people at their level. I think that's why she butts heads with Yoohyeon the most, because Yoohyeon masks her energy and emotions alot, so it's hard for Siyeon to know how to approach her. Or, at least it was in the beginning, I think Yoohyeon is much more comfortable around everyone now. ^_^

Dami is so calm and observing, a really relaxing influence. Everything is so quiet without SuA and Gahyeon around, right? JiU and Yoohyeon are in between but like Siyeon get high energy like it's contagious. Handong, like Dami, is calmer but I think both enjoy the liveliness and chaos whenever all are together. I think they all have a nice sense of humour too, that fits well together.

4:15 That's actually a thing Siyeon does a lot; she likes playing with them, especially their hands, and I think it has a calming effect for her. She particularly likes playing with the web bit between the thumb and forefinger, and when you watch them together, you'll often see JiU instinctively offer her hand for Siyeon to pinch.
5:00 There were a lot of bad things about the MinX era, but the obvious love they all have for each other isn't one of them.
5:45 I think "observant" is one of Dami's key traits. I think she's very good at observing people, and knowing how to approach them. But she also observes and analyses her general surroundings; she often spots potential accidents and issues just before they happen, so she can nip them in the bud.
I definitely agree with you about the calming influence, especially with Dami; when I was lucky enough to attend a fansign with them a couple of years ago, Dami was first in the line-up. While I waited, my heart was in my throat and I was all ready for my brain to leak out of my ears... but when I sat down with her, she was _so_ disarmingly friendly, and we were just chatting in no time...
I'm highkey jealous that you met them but at the same time I'm happy that you met them 🥺

I'd love to get another chance, too; partially to actually meet Dongie as well (she left for China about a week previous), and also to be able to speak with them better. Yoohyeon and Dami were both really easy to talk to; Gahyeon and SuA were harder work, but we managed enough words between us for them to answer a couple of questions; unfortunately the language barrier was insurmountable for Siyeon and JiU, certainly in the minute or so we had each. By now, both their English and my Korean have improved, so maybe we'd have better luck... 😜
