- Here is the Android Phone will not Accept the correct Password Fix with the updated method for newer phones where the phone is asking for the password and when you enter the known correct password as you always do it indicates it wrong when its not and even asks for the password if you try to reboot.
These are your two solutions in this situation. Should work on any phone with this problem especially Android, Samsung and other phones and Tablets.

I changed my PIN, and in a few minutes and hours after, my phone won't recognize the new PIN. Called technical support but was told I have to drain my battery for a hard reset. That means days for me. Watched countless videos for an immediate fix and thank goodness yours worked. You saved my day. THANKS A MILLION :-) .

Unreal…after going to my carrier and a cell fix it store…no one was able to help! The cell fix it store said if they opened it I would loose all pics and contacts. The carrier said they had never seen anything like this. You made it SO simple and SO easy. Thank you and bless you for sharing the answer!

Live saver, dude! I had literally opened my phone 10 seconds previously to look something up and then closed it. Needed something else, so I went to open it, wouldn't work. Straight up started to worry if I was having a stroke or if the brain-eating amoebas had finally come for me, but nope! The forced restart got it working again no problem!

THANK YOU SO MUCHHHHH DUDE. I literally put a password today to prevent my friends from going in my phone and then the password didn't want to work. I started to panic and I couldn't even tell my parents anything cause they told me not to put any passwords on my phone so chances are I would've been scolded, so once again, thank you sm!!

OMG!! I'm literally crying in joy 🥺 my husbands phone was not recognising the pattern after update. We went to the technical support, they suggested factory reset. Thanks! My Galaxy has locked me out four times now over the past couple of months. It's very frustrating. For those of you experiencing this - make sure you turn on the Find My Phone feature. You can then log into your samsung account, go to Find My Phone, and then "Unlock". You will have to reset your pw, biometrics, etc. But you won't have to wipe your phone and start all over again.
