I have moved to using the mini praxis as my EDC knife, just because of the size. Similar to this, I have the black blade and dark olive color. Great, inexpensive knife you should check out.
Cool to see Gavko designing for Civivi. We/Civivi is really putting a lot of work into the pocket knife space. There's your typical "made in China" and then there's these guys - and actually a couple others. I'd love to see the US producing comparable price & quality stuff, but... It is what it is. That 14C28N is WAAAYYY better than AUS8. They really ought to just retire AUS8 at this point. There are several better options on the market for almost no additional cost - 14C28N is definitely one of the best "budget steels". You gotta work on your "reverse flick"! That's what that big hole is really suited for...
Checkout custom made fixed-blade knives by John Miller at BGM Knives out of New Hampshire. John is an incredible talent in his early twenties and has gained quite a reputation in the knife community. I've bought a number of his knives, great quality at reasonable rates, but you'll have to wait. He's also known for his regrinds of all the big brand names. John is also a pleasure to deal with.
Mike makes some of the most beautiful knives in the world imho,, I can't afford one of his customs, so I'm definitely going to try and get one of these,. I have the Massdrop Thresher, and it is absolutely stunning, (made by WE knives.). .
You’re doing a great job and service to the tool and EDC community thanks Doc

Mike comes from Slovakia, not Serbia.
Whoops. I will make a correction. Thanks!
I should get one 🤔😂
Oh well... 14C28N is much, much better than AUS-8, actually.
"SOME" of the chinese knives are actually very good
