Beautiful video Nick. I was up at Berthoud Pass on July 21 hiking Colorado Mines Peak, that's the best I can do (abut 2 miles to the top and maybe 1000 feet of gain). Very pretty area and not too far from Denver. At 5:48 you can see Colorado Mines Peak with all the antennas on it and then behind it to the left is Mt. Flora I think.
I've done this hike a couple of times now. It's east to get to, is less travelled and the views are really something. Going up that switchback area is a bit of work, but it gets a big chunk of the up done quickly.
Great hike an a beautiful day again! The views were amazing! Can you send me some of that snow to Texas though? i want to just lay down an feel the cold! LOL.
That sure was a pretty hike! For some reason, it reminded me a lot of the Devil's Causeway hike, except without Devil's Causeway. 😊. Beautiful day and such beautiful views from the top! I think it was so crowded because it was July 4 week and lots of people in Colorado for vacation. Great footage, as always! ❤
