There's a local room escape company that's made up of ex-engineers from the movie industry, so each room that they make has high production value. It feels like you're actually in movies trying to escape from a serial killer/doing a heist. I can totally see people go to those venues just to enjoy the atmosphere

It's a tabletop game. The kit contains puzzles that needs to be solved in certain order. It's the thrill of an IRL escape room packaged into a neat little box. There are quite a few companies making them nowadays.
