That’s what I have!!! I thought I was just a bit over the top. 😂 They work great! I have at least 2 one to move rocks, and one to move containers or barrels. They are built differently, so take a good look at how it’s built before purchasing. Look at the wheels and what they are made of and the design. This is good advice. Save your back!

Usually I'm a bender, Instead of a squatter.
But when my back is sore... suddenly squatting is the greatest thing ever...!
    Nice techniques👍

I use a dolly too. When moving the Japanese maple down the steps, I’d put a 2x4 or a brick, in front of the wheels so they don’t roll. Nice video!

I use a hand truck every day for the same reason. If it's in the budget, I recommend a high-capacity model with 10" solid tires. They sink less on soft surfaces and roll a lot easier with heavy loads. In extreme cases, I lay down old fence boards for the tires - like moving containers >30 gallons on soft soil or gravel.

Bungies ate very dangerous if they snap.

I have problems with gait and balance. It is helpful to me to have something to hang onto when I walk. Like a dolly, sometimes with a cane.

Have you ever carried anything in a wagon! Much easier on the back. If you think outside of the box just a little. That same concept just use a tricycle to mount a flat piece of metal onto without the seat or handle bar. Just use the wheels and the base. You'd have to construct something to pull the front wheel. You out the containers on that. It works better than the hand truck plus you can maneuver it around.

      Hi,
Yes, I have carried things in a wagon before, but it involves lifting vertically, unless an incline or pulley system is used.
Thank you for the suggestion! It does sound like a good idea!

You are correct! Like you, my husband calls it a hand truck, too! I have always called it a dolly😊
