Per 90 the XA kdb is 1.7x as efficient as bruno which i believe is a more accurate representation of the difference in efficiency between the players. My point is that Bruno is better than most other players he is better than 90-95% of players as a creative passer but he is not 5% less efficient than kdb he is 60% as efficient as KDB. Bruno is not an inefficient 10 in the way people categorize him he is just not efficient enough as a 10 to be the playmaker for a team that has to compete with playmakers on the level of kdb. 😂😂😂 you clown trying to force agenda with those stats..... ofcourse expected assists and assists per 90 shoot significantly higher when your aiming for Haaland. In crosses Bruno stays central , KDB roams. For UTD they score in any way from open play , for City they move around choreographed paths where KDBs job is to land the ball , his volumes on any passing metric will be higher because that is what is to be expected in a passing heavy team . This is the key difference between KDB and BRUNO , Bruno has to create chances and deliver the ball in a less trained team around lesser players , KDB has to deliver the ball in a choreographed system....i.e if you took KDB to UTD and u took Bruno to Man City , who do you think is better in his new environment?
@Endrick-real KDB puts up these stas before Haaland your point isn't just incorrect it's clear you did little to no research it's also clear you don't understand how XA is calculated. 1. KDB 20-21 season. 99th percentile assists per 90 99th percentile XA per 90 99th percentile key passes per 90 97th percentile crosses per 90 97th percentile successful crosses per 90 His stats say consistent no matter who he is assisting. Unless you believe Gabriel Jesus is clinical lmao. 2. Go look up what XA is and how it is calculated doesn't matter who is on the end of it the quality of the chance is calculated in a vacuum. 3. Of course team tactics play a part in performance and thus stats but they do not account for the absurd gulf in consistency between the two players. Bruno is 60% as efficient as KDB in quality chance creation per 90 that is not a defecit that is explainable by tactical quality. Tactical quality will effect raw numbers not efficiency numbers (at least not to that degree) For example from Old/Ragnick to Ten Hag Bruno's shot amount raised 23 percent While his shot accuracy dropped by 6%. One is statistically significant The other is statistically negligible in such a small sample size. In the better more successful team he had more shots and less were on target. I'll give another example that's much more blatant. Raphinia 20-21 At Leeds a mid table side in the premier league 40 percent shot conversion rate Raphinia at Title winning Barcelona 43% shot conversion rate Again statistical negligible with such a small sample size. Meanwhile his shots taken per 90 has shot up by 24% Same goes for his other stats literally zero statistically significant difference in key passes, XA crosses or Cross completion rate/90 from Leeds to Barca. Then you look at his 21-22 Leeds season where everyone can agree HE himself played badly and the stats reflect it. Significant drop offs in all statistical categories not just raw or consistency stats it all dropped off. Unless you want to argue that mid Leeds team compared to a title winning Barcelona team are a bigger difference than man city to man U in 22-33 your point doesn't stand. If Bruno had lower rate stats than KDB that would be indicative of a system that didn't allow him to flourish and even have a chance to be consistent but no Bruno sometimes has more raw attempts than KDB while still having less consistency.

Kdb is easily the best passer. If you played football even a little bit, you know that the hardest thing to do in football when passing is chance creation. That last ball which creates the goal either directly or indirectly is the hardest thing to do. Weight of ball, inventiveness, decision making, accuracy everything goes into it. And to be able to be the best in this by a large margin makes kdb the greatest passer ever. Long balls are not as hard as the final ball by the way. Trent Alexander Arnold is a phenomenal passer, long passes, trivelas, crosses, got the most assists from a defender in Prem history. If he stays he comfortably ends up in top 3 all time assists
As a Utd fan, David Silva is my favourite in PL, in terms of style. In that dual 8 set up at City, deep, advance and progressing through the phases with his short passing was second-to-none (supplemented by his subtle touch to evade pressure). Subtle pass-and-move playmaker. Didn't play long passing much but like Iniesta, there was no need. Cesc probably has the best blend of deep lying playmaking, long passes, last third playmaking and last third pre/-assist. Thiago was great but great in non-PL, in terms of impact, so by that token, I'd rule him out.
Pogba has to be there. Forget whether you like him or not. His passing is elite of the elite. Long and short. His vision, precision and weight of pass is goat level. On both feet as well.
Someone who doesnt get his plaudits and isnt in this conversation, but isnt that far off is Jordan Henderson. One of the best long passers I've watched in football
Scholes, Gerrard, Pirlo, KDB, Beckham are all always gonna get top top praise and they deserve it. One guy who doesn't get enough Toni Kroos. His stats are unbelievable. Please if you haven't already go look them up. He has the most successful passes in La Liga, in the Champions League, into the final third, from his own half into the final third so its not just passing back or sideways. His accuracy is top tier neer dropping below 91% and as high as 95% for 10 straight seasons.
For context he's also had 5 years in a row where he achieved over 1900 passes across the season I'll post his stats below. 2015/16 - 2277 passes out of 2436 93% 2016/17 - 1910 passes out of 2079 91% 2017/18 - 1927 passes out of 2081 92% 2018/19 - 1932 passes out of 2078 92% 2019/20 - 2182 passes out of 2342 93% In the 2021/22 and 2022/23 season he achieved 95% but I can't find his total numbers

@@YMY_1999 Gerrard could dictate a game pal 🤦♂ If you think All Gerrard did was launch long range passes then you clearly didn't watch him. He did do those passes but that wasn't a bad thing. The man had a pass named after him because no one on the planet could pick out such long range accurate passes with the power and speed that he could. But when Gerrard moved into the number 10 role his link up play with Torres in the final third was superb and under Brendan Rogers he dropped deeper and controlled the tempo of the games and he was superb at that too. He wasn't as good at controlling games from deep as Alonso but who was? But as a complete passer he was better. Alonso was basically Gerrard's sidekick in midfield for Liverpool. Anyone watching knew who the main mas was and it wasn't close. You make it sound like Gerrard was a bad passer who wasted chances when he was one of the best passers of his generation who wasted nothing 🤦♂ He just doesn't get the credit others do because guys like Alonso were specialists at passing whereas being an elite passer was just one of many things Gerrard had in his locker.
Mac Allister's passing is better than Enzo for sure. His short passing has so much variety and he can also go long. He's one of the best in the league for sure.
timing/decision and weight of pass whether long or short is the most important aspect of passing. Cesc Ozil Scholes KDB and Bruno are spammers of passes.
For me id go with Messi, Toni Kroos, Scholes, Pirlo, Beckham, Gerrard, KDB, Fabregas, Xabi Alonso and Xavi as the best passes ive ever seen. Not in any kind of order I think for everything short passes, Long pass pings, crossing, dictating tempo id honesty give it to Toni Kroos for consistency aswell doing it for 10+ years at the highest level Premier League wise its either Scholes, Gerrard or KDB for me
For me it's Cesc Fabregas man. I think I just love the short passers more cause they like to keep the ball more. I love Spanish midfielders and if it wasn't the EPL only, Xavi is the best out there I swear. He isn't a 10 and that's what make him even special. Better vision and creativity than KDB
Haven’t watched the video yet. But Fabregas should be number 1, if you watched Arsenal in the late 2000s you would agree with me. He could play all types of passes, through balls, crosses etc. The guy would receive the ball from the keeper and put the striker in a one on one situation in front of the keeper with one ping, EVERY single game. He had the most chances in Europe at a time where Xavi, iniesta, pirlo etc was at their best. It’s a shame he couldn’t get more assists because of Chamakh and Bendter. There is a UA-cam video called “Cesc Fabregas the pass master” which will perfectly captivate what I’ve written.
In terms of straight passing, no mention of Eriksen is insanity, anyone who watched him for Tottenham knows his levels of creativity were insane and his balls in from the right around the back of defences was a joke.
For me Creativity is the most important aspect. The ability to create chances out of nothing. That is why Bruno Fernandez is a FAR better passer in my eyes than someone like Busquets. Followed by passing accuracy and technique and range. Best PL passers at the peak of their ability in my opinion: 1) DeBruyne 2) Beckham 3) Ozil 4) Fabregas 5) Payet 6) Trent 7) Scholes 8) Gerrard 9) Lampard 10) Eriksen
I am not trying to be provocative, but does anyone think a goalie like Ederson could ever make a Top 10? Based on position, he shouldn't, but he can pass.

Cams putting Pogba over Gerrard and even giving Toure a “shout” when Gerrard wasn’t on his list is insane.
Thiago alcantara, xabi alonso, pirlo and neymar, all amazing passes too
Pogba has to be there.
Hendo hoofball shouldn’t get a sniff within the top 50😂
I think honourable mention right now should be Odegaard. Insane vision, creativity but also so good at setting the tempo.
The most underrated player in the world right now
he won’t get credit till he leaves arsenal or retires because of ppl hatred for arsenal but he’s an incredible maestro
Yo Lyés we need The Eye Test on platforms like Apple Podcast, Spotify and etc man
How is this a debate as soon as I saw the title I thought KDB IMMEDIATELY😂
Pogba’s the best passer. His accuracy, variation and technique is the best the prem has seen. KdB just spams crosses, how are man saying him? 😂
How to spot a London Peckham Utd fan. You’re an absolute clown
The unedited bit is killing me looool 😭
congratulations lyes the blond arrow of sds first ever goat!! 🥳🎉🎊❤️ :)
The fact no one mentioned Ederson is crazy
They did
surprised you guys didn’t mention Leonardo Bonucci in passing defenders , arguably the GOAT on ball defender.
Carzola, Ramsey and Wilshere all top class as well
Scholes, Gerrard, Pirlo, KDB, Beckham are all always gonna get top top praise and they deserve it.
2015/16 - 2277 passes out of 2436 93%
2016/17 - 1910 passes out of 2079 91%
2017/18 - 1927 passes out of 2081 92%
2018/19 - 1932 passes out of 2078 92%
2019/20 - 2182 passes out of 2342 93%
In the 2021/22 and 2022/23 season he achieved 95% but I can't find his total numbers
The eye test is basically saying you’re too lazy to look at stats and provide actual analysis
Ozil pogba are in there the variation of there passes is at a elite level anyone that disagrees is waffling
If we're talking about tempo setter's AND final ball passers for RIGHT NOW, Odegaard is the best in the league
No mention of Odegaard is mad. He's by far the most creative passer in the league
xabi alonso not being there is BLASPHEMY. As a bayern fan hes the best passer ive seen at the club, although he got much better later on in his career
18 years later I still remember his pass to Finnan against Newcastle.
Jaw-dropping.
He was the guy who compensated for Gerrard’s inconsistent passing
@@YMY_1999 Gerrard was a better passer than Alonso at Liverpool. Where are you getting this inconsistent nonsense from? 😂
@@SonnyK248 i watched liverpool my guy. Gerrard’s Hollywood passes did not make him better than Alonso who could actually dictate a game in a way that Gerrard could never
@@YMY_1999 Gerrard could dictate a game pal 🤦♂ If you think All Gerrard did was launch long range passes then you clearly didn't watch him.
They gave a fair analysis. All of you kdb fans passing isn't just final third alone.
People not mentioning Beckham in this discussion is wild
timing/decision and weight of pass whether long or short is the most important aspect of passing.
Cesc
Ozil
Scholes
KDB and Bruno are spammers of passes.
17:11 This man Cam really wanted to find that shit 😂😂
For me id go with Messi, Toni Kroos, Scholes, Pirlo, Beckham, Gerrard, KDB, Fabregas, Xabi Alonso and Xavi as the best passes ive ever seen. Not in any kind of order
I think for everything short passes, Long pass pings, crossing, dictating tempo id honesty give it to Toni Kroos for consistency aswell doing it for 10+ years at the highest level
Premier League wise its either Scholes, Gerrard or KDB for me
As a United fan placing Cesc above KDB is a joke💀 he’s clearly the best ever passer in the prem.
Messi is also an all timer passer but I think yall just didn’t want to say him looool, weight off pass is crazy
Cams loves that jacket innit 😂
OK drip detective
@ ?
For me it's Cesc Fabregas man. I think I just love the short passers more cause they like to keep the ball more. I love Spanish midfielders and if it wasn't the EPL only, Xavi is the best out there I swear. He isn't a 10 and that's what make him even special. Better vision and creativity than KDB
Wearing shorts when it’s snowing outside is wilddd!!!
no eriksen mention? kinda crazy no?
What happened to the “we live together, sleep together, watch football together” intro???
it's KDB hands down
Need a tier list
Lyés my bro, love your takes and knowledge but cmon the answer is KDB, we all know it, read the comments man, give him his flowers for once
You know cams gonna get in his bag when he has the NY fitted on 🤣
Lyes drop where u buy ur pulloevers man, always so good.
He gets it from flannels
Pogba better be on this list... No matter what you say. . about everything else..his passes were ridiculous
he’s got some crazy long passes but overall he’s not one of the best of the best passers
How are kroos and pirlo not even getting a mention. Absolutely nuts.
Prem list or else they would of
Ødegaard is a better passer than Enzo c'mon now
Kalvin Phillips 20/21 pings mad.😭
In terms of straight passing, no mention of Eriksen is insanity, anyone who watched him for Tottenham knows his levels of creativity were insane and his balls in from the right around the back of defences was a joke.
and over the top just in general an incredible passer
I’m glad cesc was top he was the first name in my head when I seen the title
People seem to have forgotten about Thiago Alcantara. Not maybe have ever been on the like him when fit.
For me Creativity is the most important aspect. The ability to create chances out of nothing. That is why Bruno Fernandez is a FAR better passer in my eyes than someone like Busquets.
Followed by passing accuracy and technique and range.
Best PL passers at the peak of their ability in my opinion:
1) DeBruyne
2) Beckham
3) Ozil
4) Fabregas
5) Payet
6) Trent
7) Scholes
8) Gerrard
9) Lampard
10) Eriksen
Thiago ? How is he not brought up
His determination to bring up Carrick 😂.... Carrick FFS
Idk his spurs passing that well.but surely modric deserved a mention
Pogba, kdb, and ozil has to be there
cesc, scholes, beckham, gerard, kevin de bruyne, lampard.bergkam who else
Ozil
Its fabregas he did it at arsenal then he did peo Barca then Chelsea he was a complete passer in all the phase of play
Luka Modric played in the Prem, no?
Luka modric passing aint anywhere near that top 3
I am not trying to be provocative, but does anyone think a goalie like Ederson could ever make a Top 10? Based on position, he shouldn't, but he can pass.
Kevin De Bruyne is the only right answer 💯
My top ten passers, let me know if I miss anyone or if anyone shouldn't be on here.
1. KDB
2. Pirlo
3. Messi
4. Xavi
5. Kroos
6. Gerrard
7. Fabregas
8. Thiago
9. Trent
10. Beckham
Ozil
Pirlo and Scholes. KDB would not even be top 15 midfielders 15 years ago.
@@mosesolweny9062 Where would he be in the top 10 and who would be out?
@@LawsonSims07I would disagree, KDB would still be as great of a passer as he is now, back then.
@@alphazero5421 He would not have the luxury of having the time he does now. Comparing Scholes to KDB is a disgrace. If you had to put 1 midfielder into prime barca and spain it is either Pirlo or Scholes. KDB I do not even think he is the best in the prem now.
Pirlo #1
Both feet as well
@@jacksonstorm439 it’s just the premier league
Fabregas is easily number 1, best passer in the Prem OAT.
Lmao Fabregas?? David Silva kept him on the bench for Spain. David was clearly better
Cesc's best position was as a 6/8, he was not getting in the side ahead of Xavi/Iniesta centrally. Silva could play out wide and did a lot. International team selection & associated tactics is irrelevant here, as to who was better
The disrespect on Busquets passing is wild, Busquets is a great passer at breaking up lines, like Busquets was the architect of a lot Barcelona`s offence either Xavi and Iniesta had either left or retired.
anyways i think the greatest PL passers are 1.KDB 2.Scholes 3.David Silva 4.Cesc Fabregas 5.Beckham
Scholes Becks Kdb n bruno for me they play passes that make u stand up
Its obviously KDB, are these 2 watching golf instead of football lol
These Pogba fanboys 🤦🏻♂️
Putting Beckham ahead of Gerrard is another ridiculous Lyes take.
He's a better passer than Gerard though
Gerrard just hollywood missiles it to stretch the play and its not always a smooth execution. Xabi was far better at passing.
@@AugustusGeorge UA-cam need to do age verification checks for comments like that
@@NI-ld2iu The Gerrard long range power pass is what made him famous because of how insane it was but he could do it all. He spent large potion of his career playing in the final third as a ten and his link up play with Torres was superb. He also spent his latter years with Brendan Rogers sitting and controlling the tempo of games and he was top class in that role too. There was nothing Gerrard couldn't do.
@@6TimesBaby alright mate
Short passing icl Arsenal #5 is good
where’s the intro
I rate KDB, but Iniesta was so much better on the ball and a much better passer
Outside the prem best final third passer is Messi or Xavi
Why is Kronos not in the top 5??
The amount of people that can't even read the title right 😂 it says that played IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE people, not of all time
its kdb
Intro?
how u gonna mention currents and say enzo fernandes and not say odegaard.
these two and their anti-KDB ting… yucky
and I like the channel but this is punitive… almost made think they were casuals
KDB from deep in 16-17 was so so so elite dictating games and then spraying the ball in behind for runners and through the lines
yea u new age city fans are too funny forcing this kdb best player in the prem llowe it 😂 go watch fabregas and come back
18:50 he’s going to be able to dick tempo 😂
Ziyech
