Don’t tell my mans what to do. You’re making demands of Greek royalty right now, and I’m too gay to abide by it.
The chair is workin just fine
The chair is being overworked. But I’m gay
That would cost like, 60 bucks. What are you sippin
When I was in some Bible thing as a kid, I asked the teacher if Mary was a virgin forever because the Bible specifically mentions Jesus's brothers and sisters. They told me the Bible meant brothers and sisters the way black people did, where they weren't actually related but really close with eachother.
That fucking rocks, dude.
Dark ass bruthas
True. James was a bruthah
Yeah except if you read Mathew 13:55 it's pretty clear it's his siblings. Why would they mention specific people if they are just non important followers they had to have a significance to be mentioned. He also often refers to his followers as disciples or apostles not brothers. Also there are different words for brother in Hebrew and they used the word which would be for a blood relative so it would be either his half brother or cousins as the word doesn't differentiate between half brothers, brothers by blood, stepbrothers or cousins.
The secular world is trying to tell you that Satan has rizz, but he's actually sus and cringe af. Only Jesus can lead you to the based skibidi gyat
Jesus Romero Gonzales is a great man and one of my favorite cousins.
Yeah except they're kiddie fuckers
Satan hella rocks, bro.

Preach lil bro
Usually people are operating off stuff their sunday school teacher said when they were 11, and never actually bother to learn anything about the scholarship behind it all. That's a shame, because i think that so much of it impacts us today without us even knowing. Lots of good arguments for/against christianity, but the history/debates/theology/philosophy is actually pretty interesting.
Went through Catholic School, never believed any of it, the education was okay though. Worst part was going to church every Wednesday and Friday. Overall 5/10 experience, probably won't do it again.
Being Catholic is so vintage
Retro
*cringe
just like how music becomes retro cool with kids who weren't alive when it happened the first time, catholicism is cool with the kids born after we found out priests were pedal files
Stavros this is why the Doge of Venice sacked Constantinople, decadent greeks don't understand the appeal of the Roman church.
Is it really so surprising in a time where life feels more and more pointless for the majority of people that everyone is turning to religions again?
not surprising, it makes a lot of sense. You're gonna basically believe in something in a platonic ideal sense. Boomers were able to believe in the idea of an endless materialistic progress because they came up in a time of abundance, but then when it became apparent that that was just a temporary thing to newer generations, the newer gens have had to go back to believing in some form of afterlife or something non-material in order to get on with life.
Hell yeah, seeing Kyle on this is so satisfying. He needs more shine

I like Stav sig heiling in the thumbnail, classy
Wanted to give a little perspective as a zoomer who is living the life you're describing:
I think you're right that the 'world of endless possibilities' perspective just doesn't exist for my generation so much, but I don't think this is a bad thing necessarily. I think people are turning to more stable organizations instead of trying to change the world, usually to no avail. Young people just wanna settle down, have a family, stay connected to the community through church, and have a decent job to depend on during economic turmoil. I think it's millennials who are more fucked in the long term, because they are gonna be in their mid 40s and 50s, no roots in the places they grew up, adolescent mindset, and if shit _really_ hits the fan they're not gonna have the skills and support to hunker down and weather through it. I'm 24, I'm in school for my master's degree, I have a wife and we're planning to have kids once I've graduated - I feel very good about my future.
As for Catholicism, I couldn't bite for that one either. I went with Eastern Orthodox. It seemed a little less child touchy, at least to the point where I could safeguard any of my own children, and seemed more serious in practice than Catholicism. Though I don't have Catholic parents and grandparents, so I could see why someone would go for that if all of their relatives were. I am worried though that people are going to take for granted the amount of 'free thinking' they were allowed, and that they're not gonna set healthy boundaries between themselves and the church. I think a lot of people are gonna fall into a bandwagon of acting like old-ass republicans crying about satanic books in school and other gay shit like that, and that's just gonna make the next generation swing towards the progressive/woke side of things again. No one understands moderation and just try to throw themselves entirely behind something without hedging their own bets on themselves.
Anyway sorry for the textbook-long response. Love you Stavvy, make sure to call your mom, your aunties, uncles and grandparents and wish them a happy lent.
Nice blog
I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
"a little less touchy" .. couldn't you be something less lame like a witch or a new age... I do feel that our gen is lonely. Iv been wt my HS sweetheart and we're now 25. No kids as well. We love the beach, beer, crab and political activism! And of course, Stavvy! We're not "white collar" though!
But I do feel we will adopt the lib side of vintage presenting demeanor but with modern values and goals.
@@HaloFan117_ I was pagan for a long time before getting into Christian theology. I was a member of Ár nDraíocht Féin and was very big on pagan reconstruction and revivalism. I can tell you first hand that it pales in comparison to the depth of thought of Christian theology and pales to the actual, real connectedness you have to people around you when a part of a church network. The most I ever got to a community of druids was a discord server of the most bitchy, mentally unwell people I've ever spent time with. Neopaganism is a very embarrassing and shallow invention of the 20th century, I don't believe it's a serious alternative.
@@-whackd😂😂😂
i mean it makes sense if your parents were not religious you want to rebel and become one. but being hardcore is what scares me though.... following that religious extremist views is gonna be so exhausting
Say what you want about the Catholics but they are genuinely very friendly and a kind people. A lot of Catholics helped me get through a dark time in my life when no other religious community would. That’s something I’ll forever be grateful for and remember about the Catholics.
I mean, sure for the Jesuits or Latino congregations maybe. But that absolutely does not apply to White Catholics, who's politics and attitudes are basically in the ilk of the Federalist Society
Same here. I was fortunate enough to have a Catholic best friend and got to meet plenty of them.
Repressed memories coming back in 3..2..1...
It’s evident that most people here don’t know the basics of Catholicism 😂
Brainwash the masses -> Take their money --> Diddle their kids --> Repeat?
What do you mean it looks like a cult? It IS a cult
I think people confuse what being in a cult means, assuming that it has something to do with the number of adherents. But the truth is you can have a billion people or just be the 2 survivors of Heaven's Gate, you're still a cult regardless of the numbers.
The only difference between a religion and a cult is real estate.
100% facts @@bobriquardo5317
thank god some edgy 12 year olds are here i was getting worried for a min
Cult isn’t even a meaningful word anymore, Catholics call mormons, a cult, Protestants call JH a cult, atheists call all of Christianity a cult, and we all agree that Scientology is a cult. 😂
Just looking at the comments, I'm surprised that Stavvy has such a religious group of followers.
Shitting on religion is so edgy and cool. Never been done before!
Diddling kids in the name of Jesus is so edgy and cool too!
Is no one going to point out how this is partially his buddy’s ex’s fault?
Lmfao yeah no it's not
Jesus did have a half brother, James
Joseph got God's sloppy seconds
Thats truely a hard act to follow. You can pull out some tricks but shes just had that cosmos
This is a very 2007 view of religion.
Of course a boy loving Greek would say that.

I think this ep got me to start praying again 😐

Converting to Catholicism is just about the dorkiest bs I can imagine, and I was raised Catholic
Our generation is sick of the gay and trans being pushed down our throats which resulted in alot of my friends to become more religious
If they become Catholic, they might get something gay pushed down their throats anyway.
Lmao I believe in a Boundless Unlimited Timeless Being because I've seen one too many gays
Omg is that another trans? Well now I believe the Lord incarnated itself into a Jewish man 2000 years ago because of seeing some trans people around.
Yknow why I believe the Source of all Creation incarnated itself into a five foot tall Jewish man from 2000 years ago? Because I've seen too many gays lately.
Mans cooking in the comments section, the OP giving off closeted self hating gay vibes lmao js
Catholicism rocks actually
As someone who grew up Catholic, nah. it fucking sucks actually. Source - the 250 million dollar thousand client molestation lawsuit in my hometown.
