Wear test update: the day I filmed this video, and every time I wore the eyeshadows with primer, they lasted very well, with no creasing or smudging. The one time I wore the LE on my bare lids, however, I did find that some of it got into my eyes, which made my eyes water, and then there was a lot of smudging, so I’d recommend using eye primer if you have oily lids or watery eyes!
Have you tried either of these formulas? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts! :)
LE Viola is an amazing color.
I haven’t tried the LE but I have 3 of the Pat McGrath shadows and I LOVE THEM-and I am not a liquid shadow person at all. I have oily hooded lids so I prime my lids with any shadow. The Pat McGrath lasts over 12 hours for me, until I take them off. They look great. I’m really pleased. I use my finger too

I have a few of the Lisa Eldridge liquid shadows and really like them. They've become a bit of a go to as a gift for my friends and family who aren't super into makeup and who I don't think would get much use out of an eyeshadow palette if I gifted them that, because the LE liquid shadows are pretty simple to apply and blend out with a finger, and look nice. They were a big hit with my mum and a few friends so far. Plus, they look nice on ppl's vanities.

Both of them look beautiful! I have sworn off liquid eyeshadows since the Stila glitter&glows...not their fault honestly, it's the name of the game. They eventually dry out.
I do love that you applied little bits and blended out. I saw a bunch of people, especially with the PML shadows, apply chunky thick layers and complain they can't find the glitter.

Wow, both shades looked amazing on you! Thanks for the detailed comparison. I’ve been very tempted by these, but didn’t want to find out they were patchy. The formula seems stellar even with several layers. I hate when products dry up, that’s really the main blocker for me with liquids/creams that I won’t go through quickly. Powder formulas remain stable for longer. But you’re so right, no glitter fallout! 🤔 Still on the fence.
On you, both shades were fantastic, but I slightly preferred the LE. Just had a more interesting multicolor sheen to it. :)
Thanks so much! That’s a good point - I really hope these don’t dry out quickly. I’m super slow at going through products. Agreed that Anais is a more interesting shade. I feel like LE always has the most unique colors!
I loove the LE, the Angelica shade is my fave of the three I have and I use it alot, waiting for zora to come back in stock. I find they will maybe crease a bit and show a little wear, but only several hours into my crazy workday on my oily leaning skin, but perform very well imo as far as longevity (I have only tried w a primer). Have been intrigued and side eyeing one of the PM shades...

Having quite creasy eyelids, I very much love liquid/cream shadows. Lisa's shades are gorgeous, but boring in the best possible way. They're what I reach for on days I just want to get my makeup done or can't/don't want to use overly bright, glittery shades. They're very sophisticated, but honestly don't get me excited. Funnily, it was Pat Mcgrath that got me back into powder shades & I just enjoy playing with colour, texture... her shades turn me into a little artist, once I created a look, I want to wipe it off & immediately try something new, because the colours are so pretty. I can't stop touching a few shades in my Motherships. So when I saw PM was coming out with liquid eyeshadows, I was excited - my favourite texture with my favourite colours? Then I saw the launch & immediately felt underwhelmed. And your video confirmed what I already thought - I don't need those shades. They look great on you, of course, but they pretty much do the same as the LE eyeshadows I already have. Plus that much product seems a waste, I'd never be able to use it all up. Thanks for sharing your experience! Yeah, as much as I enjoy PMG’s liquid shadows, I will say they aren’t as exciting as her powder shadows! Her motherships are definitely my faves :)
I got the PMG Luna Rose - the color is beautiful and I really like it. I don't love the applicator, but works great with my fingers. It reminded me of CT Eyes to Mesmerize cream shadows.

@@areteanbeauty They are easy to work with and very beautiful. However, they do not last too long (on my lids) and I think they are too expensive for a single shadow ($35 ).
Yikes, that is a lot for a single shadow without lasting power! I guess powders are still the most reliable for eyeshadow

Thanks for sharing! I hope she restocks soon! I was also really interested in the champagne and twilight platinum shades, but they sold out so quickly the first day - that’s part of why I didn’t pick up any shades when she first launched this formula.
