I think this is the best theme for Season 1 and prologue hands down, but I think the new opening for Season two River is perfect for where the story is right now. Also Aimer's ending Torches in season 1 is a good theme for the series too. Either way the music in the series is just so amazing.
It perfectly encapsulates Thorfinn as a character throughout the entire first half of the season, setting correct expectations for the rest of the season. It feels like what you might imagine his emotions would be screaming out.

Vinland saga is super underappreciated. One of the best animes ever imo. And its just season 1.. The ending was so fucking good. Those reflections in the blades, holy shit was that well done.

I just started Vindland Saga, it has all I love: -Awesome opening and outro. -Music is Goated. -Animation is the same as AOT, there is nothing left to say. -I love that the plot is about something that existed and also the whole history is fire.

It bothers me when you really like an anime's opening, and they just have to change their openings because it's the next season, like it's a tradition for literally every anime. Like when they did the opening for Banana Fish *Found and Lost* , the anime should've stayed with that opening. For Vinland Saga, they should've stayed with this opening.

The lyrics go with Thorfinn character, the opening really goes so well with his change of revenge. Re-hearing the song it hit me how it goes so perefect with Eren from Attack on titan too. The song also capture how season 4 is heading too. Tragic events, to two boys who worlds were torn apart from violence and war.

Vinland saga is brilliant! I started watching it this week, and I'm absolutely in love with this song. The lyrics, composition and manner in which it's sung match up with the heartbreak of the early saga so well. Gives me the shivers, friends! I hope that dear Thorfinn finds his way home 💙

This song is from season 1 yet it accurately represents the emotions of Thorfinn in season 2 when he is having nightmares and cant seem to remember them and the more he looks at them them more he feels empty inside. Truly a masterpiece
it represents a lot of characters just from all the lines between 0:23 and 0:55. -It represents Slaves, Thorfinn, and many other warriors who becomes true warrior since it's a phase they'd go through, with the lines: "I've paid my dues, I've sold my soul, so tell me what is left for me, when I've given up everything?". -"Can someone tell me the pictures that I used to dream of. I can't seem to feel a thing" is about Thorfinn, possibly Thors too, and every single warrior who became true warriors. Its supposed to mean that back then, the "pictures" they used to dream of can be their imagination or perspective. And I believe it means their perspective on being a warrior is like cool, etc. But now, they can't feel a thing, they feel nothing in killing, they just can't feel anything, they're empty. I would guess it is a phase that EVERY WARRIOR THAT BECOMES TRUE WARRIORS have to go through. You wouldn't even think of wanting to reborn unless you went too far gone and that would mean being empty. Einar can also be an example of the "scenery" part but he isn't empty atleast not yet since I'm only caught up in the anime and not the manga. - "From this scenery, the more I look back, the more I feel like the person I am is empty inside". Same meaning as the last line. It is truly a beautiful song. And a lot of us can probably relate on the line "Can someone tell me the pictures that I used to dream of".

I just started Vindland Saga, it has all I love:
-Awesome opening and outro.
-Music is Goated.
-Animation is the same as AOT, there is nothing left to say.
-I love that the plot is about something that existed and also the whole history is fire.
If you are watching the show for action then you will be disappointed with season 2 when it eventually releases.

Just finished Vinland, this song was honestly one of my favorite parts of the show and I got mad when they swapped OPs halfway thru

The lyrics go with Thorfinn character, the opening really goes so well with his change of revenge. Re-hearing the song it hit me how it goes so perefect with Eren from Attack on titan too. The song also capture how season 4 is heading too. Tragic events, to two boys who worlds were torn apart from violence and war.

This song is from season 1 yet it accurately represents the emotions of Thorfinn in season 2 when he is having nightmares and cant seem to remember them and the more he looks at them them more he feels empty inside. Truly a masterpiece

it represents a lot of characters just from all the lines between 0:23 and 0:55.
-It represents Slaves, Thorfinn, and many other warriors who becomes true warrior since it's a phase they'd go through, with the lines: "I've paid my dues, I've sold my soul, so tell me what is left for me, when I've given up everything?".
-"Can someone tell me the pictures that I used to dream of. I can't seem to feel a thing" is about Thorfinn, possibly Thors too, and every single warrior who became true warriors. Its supposed to mean that back then, the "pictures" they used to dream of can be their imagination or perspective. And I believe it means their perspective on being a warrior is like cool, etc. But now, they can't feel a thing, they feel nothing in killing, they just can't feel anything, they're empty. I would guess it is a phase that EVERY WARRIOR THAT BECOMES TRUE WARRIORS have to go through. You wouldn't even think of wanting to reborn unless you went too far gone and that would mean being empty. Einar can also be an example of the "scenery" part but he isn't empty atleast not yet since I'm only caught up in the anime and not the manga.
- "From this scenery, the more I look back, the more I feel like the person I am is empty inside". Same meaning as the last line.
